"Well if everyone else is getting badges, then I might as well go get mine from Surge," Jared said, walking into the gym. Surge was waiting for him.

"So, another punk wants to challenge me for a badge, ah? Well bring it on kid, I'm ready to knock someone around." Surge said, taunting Jared.

"Well, I don't think you're going to have a shot at this one, Surge," Jared shot back. "In fact, I think this will be over within a minute."

"You're right about that buddy, cause my Raichu is going to fry you!" Surge tossed out his most trusted Pokemon as Raichu looked raring to go, sparks literally flying from its cheeks. "Who are you going to send out to top my Raichu, they'll all go down!"

"Nicky, come on out," Jared released Nicky, and he stood towering before Raichu.

"Niiiiiiiiii," You dare question my ability? You shall get a taste of my earth shattering power! Nicky let loose with an Earthquake. Raichu quickly topped over the shaking just too much as Surge was grounded.

"Well, shoot, I guess that was quick! Well, here you go kid," Surge exclaimed, tossing the Thunder badge at Jared.

"Sweet, thanks Surge!" Jared said, making his way back to the group. "So, anyone else?"

"What do you want to do Aari? We have the entire day to spend together." Magnus asked the girl whom he loved. "We haven't hung out, just the two of us, since... I can't even remember, to be honest. Come on, if there's anything you want to do, we should do it."

Aari pondered her thoughts. She looked around to see what other people were doing; nothing really interested her. She turned around and looked at the table behind her. A half empty drink & a brochure were there. Aari reach out & took grasp of the brochure.

?Maybe there?s something in here? she finally answered Magnus.

She flipped through the pages until she had reached the end. An advertisement for a new bowling alley was there. It gave directions to it & if they brought the advertisement with them they could get a discount. Aari turned around and looked at Magnus.

?I know I suck at bowling but d?you want to go bowling?? she asked, blushing a little.

well now's a good as time as any Brandon thought as he let out Jack who was looking very down. He knelt next to him and asked what's wrong
Kir, Kirlia I'm just bummed that Lilly is stronger than me now. I was the one who was always protecting her and now it's the other way around.
"well I have something that may fix that" Brandon said as he pulled out the Dawn stone and showed it to Jack."now this is something that I'm leaving up to you.
Jack pulled off the everstone pendant and looked at the stone.He reached out and touched the stone as he started to glow white and grew to about Brandon's height.
Gallade! Now that's what I'm talking about Jack said as the light disappeared.
He then turned to Brandon and bowed(He is a master of courtesy) and said thank you

"Alright..." Magnus said to Aari. "If that's what you want to do, we'll go bowling."

Magnus looked at the brochure, and saw how far the new Bowling Alley was from where they were. According to the map scale, it was about a mile away, an easy fifteen-minute's walk from here. However, Magnus didn't want to spend his entire day walking. He heard a high-pitched beeping noise and turned around, a boy on a motorized scooter rolled past and rode through the street.

"You know, I've always wanted one of those things." Magnus said out loud. "Never could find a place to get one, though."

"Well then, look no farther." A man's voice said from across the street. On the inside corner of the block, there was a little tent and a sign that said:

Motorized Scooters for rent daily.

"Hey Aari... How'd you like to ride one of those to the bowling alley, and around town? They look like wicked fun. It sure beats walking..."

Ashley tossed and turned the whole time she lay in that bed. Every time she closed her eyes to try and rest, the images and memories and events came to mind and frightened her. After the few minutes she spent trying to rest, she got up sweating.

Getting up, she wiped her face off with a towel. She saw the three pokemon staring at her, as if she was some sort of criminal. Feeling paranoid, she quickly dug through her backpack for her favorite perfume. It was the smell of strawberries, bananas, and other assorted berries. She sprayed a squirt on both or her wrists, and on her neck.

She then departed from the room and walked through the hotel. Walking out onto the street she saw Jefferey and Joel walking towards some restaurant, and Magnus and Aari checking out some scooters. Ashley chuckled to herself at the sight of the two together. She didn't know why, but after the compassion Magnus showed to her, she had become attracted to him.

Forcing a smile on her face, she approached Magnus. As she arrived by his side, she stood on her tippy toes and whispered in his ear, "What's someone as sexy and compassionate as you doing out here?"

Joel and Jeffrey headed towards the restaurant. "You're going to love this place Jeff. They serve the best Kingler legs ever," Joel thought for a second, "wait, lets get Lucario. They allow pokemon on the porch of the restaurant. Maybe Lucario would want to go with us? I know Ace will. Give me a sec." Joel ran back to the room to get Ace and he returned and he and Jefrey, with Ace and Lucario headed towards the Pelliper View Restaraunt

Rodney was inside the gym, he was meeting up at the restaurant later. After finding his way through the annoying puzzle he met with Lt. Surge, "Another kid? Oh your another one from Cerulean and Celadon" the Lt. said then continued "How about a double-battle?" He threw out his pokemon, an Electabuzz and a Pachirisu. Rodney in response threw out Q and Sparks, Rodney said "You first".

"Pachi!, Electabuzz! Charge together for a Zap-Cannon!" The small blue and white Pachirisu got on top of the Electabuzz and they began charging together, Rodney made his move "Q, boomerang to hit them both then Sparks steal their thunder!" The attack worked and the two were forced to discharge, which Sparks took all of in, then began to glow white and grow. Rodney said "Magnus did say he would evolve soon...", The newly evolved Ampharos gave a cry of "Pharos!", Rodney said "Let's finish this!, Sparks use your speed to run and jump then send a Thunder Wave all across the room, Q Earthquake!" Lt.Surge didn't give a command saying "Good work kid, hit em' high and hit em' low. You've earned your badge".

Rodney took and thanked the Lt. while running off to show his friends.

jeffery and joel were making their way to the seafood restaurant
"so seafood eh you know I could go for some tentacruel right now have`nt had any in like a year or two" jeffery said as they approached the front of the restaurant.

"yeah that tentacruel was great you know combined with the fact that we actually fished it from the sea made it even better" lucario commented as they were right outside the restaurant.

"you fish?" Joel asked disbelievingly.

"no I reached into the water and grabbed for it" jeffery replied heavily laying on sarcasm.

"you tried that once now that was funny I think you managed to grab a finneon and it water pulsed you and you were stumbling around the shallow water confused for like an hour shouting WE DON`T SERVE PEOPLE HERE MACHAMP GO BACK TO THE GIANT CLOUD man that was funny" lucario laughed.

"yeah what ever" jeffery said laughing at himself "yeah and then there's your most embarrassing moment what was that again..." jeffery paused to think and he opened his mouth to talk but lucario quickly clamped it shut as the words jeffery were about to say were muffled.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

Magnus heard a seductive whispering in his ear.

"What's someone as sexy and compassionate as you doing out here?"

He nearly jumped out of his skin, not expecting to hear something that close to him.

"Holy Fu..." Magnus flinched and then turned around. "Oh, it's you Ashley. I wasn't expecting to see you out here." What she said to Magnus was then comprehended.

"Uhh..." Magnus stammered awkwardly. "Y-Yeah... Umm... Ashley, you've met Aari, right? She and I are... well, we're kind of..." Magnus sighed, there was no easy way to put this to her.

"Aari is my girlfriend... and I love her very much. I appreciate the compliment, but I'm very much in love with her. I'm sorry if that was unclear in any way."

Magnus turned his head, looked at Aari and began to blush.

Ashley nervously chuckled, and felt embarrassed as hell. She felt terrible. Her stomach started to cramp up, as Aari glared at her.

"Wow I'm..." Ashley started to walk away, "Sorry..."

Joel saw the slight "tiff" between Magnus, Aari and the new girl and felt pretty bad for her. "Sorry, Jeff, give me a sec." Joel ran over to Ashley and said, "Hey, I saw what happened. I know how you feel, if you can believe that," Joel was smiling knowingly, "I liked Aari when I first met the group and she started to date Magnus. Hey, how would you like to join me and Jeffrey for a good meal. Ledian can come too. They let pokemon eat on the patio with their trainers. My treat."

Joel stood, hoping she would say yes, and he wasn't hiding his excitement well at all.

Hearing Joel's proposition, a smile shot up Ashley's face.

"I'd love to. Oh, and call my Pokemon Leaky. Let me go grab him real quick!" Smiling she bolted back into the hotel, and up the stairs. As she climbed the stairs, she thought of what she just did, and how stupid it was. She knew she desperately wanted companionship ever since the incident, but that was way to much. She wouldn't sink to stealing boyfriends, or randomly picking up guys. She was a flirt, but she wasn't that way.

Opening the door to the room, she grabbed Leaky and returned to Joel.

"All right, I'm ready"

"Sweet, let's go guys!" Joel was smiling widely. Thew group headed to the restaurant on the dock and got a table for three and a small table for the pokemon on the patio. It was late enough that the lunch rush had passed. The waitress approached the trio and smiled sweetly, "now, will this be on three seperate checks?" "Nope, it's my treat today," Joel said smiling back, "I'll take the half pound of Kingler legs and a full pound for my large friend there," Joel said motioning towards Ace. "Ok, and what can I get the rest of you?" the waitress asked Jeff and Ashley.

Glancing at the menu, Ashley had no clue what was good or not. Hearing Joel's optimistic order, Ashley knew what to get.

"Well Joel, you're making them sound to good not to get. I'll have the half pound on Kingler Legs, and can I get a side Ceaser Salad and a regular sized one, please? Thanks"

jeffery glanced up and down the menu and placed it down on the table.
"I`l have a pound of tentacruel fried dang good that stuff is oh and another pound for my friend" jeffery nodded to lucario "oh and can I have like a quarter pound of kingler legs as a side dish thanks" jeffery said smiling at the end of his sentance the waitress walked back to the kitchen to get their order."so uhhh man I got nothing anybody else have something to talk about" jeffery said as he sat there looking back and forth at the both of them.

"Well," Joel said, sipping on an iced tea, "I'd like to get to know a little more about Ashley, especially if we're going to be traveling together." Joel had a big grin on his face, looking at the pretty girl. "I mean, the more the merrier, right?"

Ashley's great smile suddenly faded as her face turned stone cold.

"Well, what do you want to know?" she asked nervously.

jeffery stirred in his chair for a while before thinking of something"well um where are you from,what are your hobbies,how are you" Jeffery said sweetly but the his tone changed to that of an awkward one "and well you don`t have to answer this one if you don`t want to but...how did you become so ragged and bruised when we first saw you" jeffery asked immediately regretting that he asked that.
