Joel smiled at Ashley. Maybe we find them sooner than we think, he thought to himself. Anyone looking at him would see him looking at Ashley, lost in his thoughts and smiling goofily.
Magnus parked the scooter in the lot in front of the Hotel. He turned off the motor and was about to get up when Aari stopped him.
"I'll get Red and Reynard. You keep the motor running, okay?" Aari said to Magnus.
"Sure thing, sweetie. I'll wait right here, for you." Magnus smiled, he was enjoying their date.
Aari ran up to the room that they shared and opened the door, letting Red and Reynard out. She and the Pokemon went downstairs and into the Parking lot, where Magnus waited for them.
"Alright guys, return!" Magnus beamed back both of his Pokemon and placed their pokeballs back on his belt. Aari walked over, planted a kiss on Magnus's cheek, and got back on the back of the scooter.

The two made their way into the park, parked the scooter, and began taking a walk. Unlike the beach, this area was much more calm. There were still college students here, but they seemed more mature than their beach-going counterparts. There was a small lake in the center of the park, with wooded and grassy areas throughout. Wild Pokemon roamed the park, as did Trainers trying to capture them.
"This is nice..." Magnus said, holding Aari's hand. "If only we could do this more often."
The two of them reached a little clearing and saw a group of trainers matched up in pairs, engaging in doubles battles.
"You think we should join them?" Aari asked. "Daisy and Togetic could use the exercise. It'll be fun."
"I agree..." Magnus said. "Let's show these kids what we can do."
Magnus and Aari stepped up and faced a set of twins in battle.
"Go Daisy!"
"Go Red!"
The other trainers called out their Pokemon.
"Go Beedrill!"
"Go Butterfree!"
The Pokemon glared at each other, taking their stances before the battle started.
"Let the battle begin!"

jeffery looked back and forth between Ashley and Joel and saw Joel grinning with a attentive look on his face jeffery suddenly felt a stab in his heart he did`nt know why but the pain only intensified as he looked back and forth from Joel to Ashley he pulled his eyes away and started sucking on one of the tentacruel tentacles. "wonder why I felt that unless...no it can`t be I wanted to be strong, I wanted to remove my feelings in times like this you can`t afford to like or love but...I can`t help it" jeffery thought as he continued chewing his food.

Aari let out Daisy and then waited for the battle to begin. As soon as she heard the commencement of the match, she readied herself.
?I hate bugs? Aari muttered. ?Alright Daisy, rollout on that Beedrill?
Daisy formed into her ball and started to accelerate. She sped off towards the Beedrill, just about to smash into it.
?Alright, Beedrill fly higher? one of the other trainers?s commanded.
The Beedrill swooped higher but it was no use. Daisy flew into the air and smashed the bee Pokémon to the ground, damaging it severely. Aari took a deep breathe, something crossed her mind?
Good to have you back eT. I was worried that I was butchering Aari's character while you were gone.
"Red, use Flame Wheel on the Butterfree!" Red engulfed himself in flames and curled into a ball. He spun himself and slammed into the Butterfree, knocking it to the ground.
"Butterfree, use Silver Wind!" The Butterfree flapped its wings and launched a wave of air at Red, doing relatively little damage.
"Red, use Quick Attack!" Red tackled the Butterfree at high speed, knocking it out.
Rodney with Krabby leg hanging out of mouth looked up and saw what was happening "....really you guys? I mean we haven't even killed anybody together yet and you guys can't get your eyes off her!" mass-blushing as Rodney had expected caused everybody to snap back to the real world.

"I think they are over at the park right now" Brandon said walking up and taking a chair from a near by table. He had fallen asleep by the pool. Thankfully he had woken up before he got a sunburn. He let out Jack to join them. "I saw them stop by the hotel and head off in that dierection." he said as the watres came by and asked for his order. "Oh just a coke please and a half pound of Kingler legs for Jack hear."

"Sorry Rodney, but you know how I get around pretty girls," Joel said grinning and biting into a Kingler leg. "So, what does everyone think? Great restaurant huh?" Joel asked the group, expecting an affirmative vote.
"yeah it`s a great place nice atmosphere,good service great people...aside from the occasional jackass but there always people to handle them" jeffery laughed. "but dang I`m bored I mean food`s all well and good and I appreciate it but man there`s gotta be something to do like I dunno a pokemon battle or something man have`nt had one of those in a while" jeffery said reminiscing
"hmmm desert now that`s an idea I can enjoy garcon one plate of chocolate pudding" jeffery said clapping softly to get the waiters attention the waiter came over and jeffery snickered at his thin wispy mustache.

Rodney patted his now full stomach saying "I don't think I could eat another bi-" then looking at the menu he saw they a fudge cake slice with icecream "Uhhhh nevermind what I just said" he mentioned as the waiter returned to the table.

hmmm I already have this thread bookmarked and what with all this sitting around and awkwardness going on at the moment I do believe this is time for a plot device that is terrible yet fun
jeffery,Joel,Ashley,Rodney and Jared were all gathered around their table awaiting their dessert orders but suddenly out of nowhere the door was kicked open and four or five men all dressed in leather jackets and jeans entered one of them pointed at jeffery. "there that little F***er is who kicked me out of here and humiliated me" the man yelled, jeffery turned around in his seat.
"oh.." jeffery started but then thought of something "hey wait if I fight off these bikers then maybe ashley will think I`m courageous and then who knows" jeffery thought as he got up and turned around "can I help you gentlemen" jeffery said a curious look on his face.
"don`t get smart with us kid we`re here to beat the crap outta you" one of the bikers said a scowl on his face.
"well then if it is a fight you want then bring it on" jeffery said raising his fists but then out of nowhere one of the bikies clothes lined jeffery over the table and started laying into him he then picked him up and locked his arms behind his head. The other bikies had started to push back the rest of the group as they continued to punch jeffery in the face and gut jeffery tried to fight back by kicking them away but they eventually overpowered him and jeffery was powerless to fight back.
"Red, use Flamethrower!" Red blasted the Beedrill and caused it to faint, ending the battle. "Great job!
"This was nice..." Aari said, returning Daisy to her Pokeball. "We should meet back up with the others, they're probably wondering where we are."
"Yeah, you're probably right. I think they said they were headed to some restaurante on the Pier. We should check there first. Red, return!"
Magnus and Aari hopped back on the scooter and rode to the restaurant.

Magnus parked the scooter and he and Aari walked inside the restaurant. When they got inside, they saw Jeffrey being pummeled by a gang of bikers, all of whom looked very pissed.
"Damn it Jeffrey." Magnus muttered. "What'd you do now?" Magnus walked over to the brawl, reached into his front pocket, and pulled out his gun. He fired a single shot into the air and all the bikers stopped pummeling Jeffrey.
"Unless you all want to be arrested for assault and battery, I suggest you leave my friend alone. You have three seconds before the next bullet is aimed at one of you guys... One."
"Yeah right, kid. Like you'd actually shoot us." The Bikers laughed and continued.
"Two..."
"He looks serious, I don't think he's kidding." One of the bikers said.
"Three..." Magnus lowered his gun and aimed it at the group of Bikers.
"Alright, kid. We get the message... We're leaving." The bikers backed away from Jeffrey and left the building. Rodney and the others at his table crowded around Jeffrey to see if he was okay.
"You okay, Jeff?" Magnus asked his friend.
"This was nice..." Aari said, returning Daisy to her Pokeball. "We should meet back up with the others, they're probably wondering where we are."

"yeah I`m fine a little bruised and I think they may have swapped my stomach and lungs but I`m good" jeffery replied slowly getting to his feet wiping some blood from his mouth he staggered back and forth a little before regaining his balance, jeffery was bruised all over with a shiner on his right eye. "you know what because after about five times this happens to ya you learn to build up a resistance to being pummeled" jeffery laughed them immediately held his chest in pain. "so you guys wanna wait for dessert cause I could go for some or you guys wanna get back to the hotel" jeffery asked.
"Actually Jeffrey, you should probably go to the bathroom and wash up. Cake doesn't taste very good mixed with blood." Magnus smiled and pulled out Aari's seat, and pushed it in when she sat down.
"When you're done, I might need to check if they did any serious damage. Unless you want to go to the hospital. As for staying or going, I really don't mind either way."

I was the last person to post, so that's my excuse. Plus it was my dad's birthday on Saturday, so I was having a couple with him. Also, heads up, the next two weekends, don't expect much from me either. Road tripping to Fredericton and Halifax respectively.
"Man Jeff, even when you do good, you get beat up," Jared noted, but his attention quickly wavered. "Oooooh! Cake!" he exclaimed as dessert arrived at the table.
"yep and I owe lucario ten bucks" jeffery smiled he then walked to the bathroom and stared into the mirror trying to focus his vision, he then splashed water over his face and loomed over the sink trying to collect his thoughts "okay note to self stop trying to help people it can only result in bad things happening to you" jeffery muttered to himself he swallowed some water gargled it and spat it out along with some of his blood he then pushed all his hair off his face and left the bathroom he sat back down with the rest of the group who all looked at him like he was going to die on the spot.

"yeah I`m cool oh hooray my chocolate pudding" jeffery exclaimed grabbing his chocolate pudding and eating a big spoonful.
