Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

"Seriously Jeff... Let me check to see if they've done anything serious. It'll only take a minute."

"No fucking way, Magnus. I'm not letting you touch me." Jeffrey responded angrily.

"Fine, I'll just pour salt in your wounds until you do."

"Fine... wait what?"

Magnus picked up the salt and poured some into his hand. He gestured and Jeffrey eased back, giving in.

"Fine, just don't do anything weird." Jeffrey sighed.

"I promise." Magnus pressed against Jeffrey's ribs, he winced, but Magnus felt nothing broken. He moved his hand and pressed against Jeffrey's stomach, feeling for anything that would indicate damage.

"You're fine." Magnus told Jeffrey. "Just be glad they didn't kick you in the gonads... I couldn't help you there... or rather, wouldn't... As soon as everyone's done with dessert, we probably should head back to the Hotel. I'm going to head over there now, we need to get another room so Ashley has a place to sleep. I'll see you guys in a bit." Magnus walked over to Aari and kissed her.

"Thank you for spending they day with me, Aari. Love you, babe." He kissed her again and left the restaurant.

Aari smiled as Magnus turned around and walked away. She could tell she was blushing but didn?t care. She walked over to a nearby bench, near the restaurant. She sat down quickly and stared into the sky. The words replayed in her mind.

Aari sighed and stood up again. It had been a waste of time going to that bench. She could?ve just gone with Magnus. She chose not to for a reason, a reason she was confused about.

[sup]Will I do it? Nah, well, maybe..[/sup]

Aari shook her head & headed off to the hotel, it would be a longish walk & she needed the time to think. Think about where her life was going; she couldn?t just attack the rockets 24/7.

Rodney almost choked on the last piece of his cake saying "Uh-oh! I forgot to tell you guys we have to leave tomorrow morning the hotel is all booked out. Sorry guys but we can get on our way to Fuschia now. Someone text Magnus" He now turned to Ashley "Sorry to press this on you but we gotta get a move on, you coming with?"

OoC: If you have some things left to do in Vermillion go ahead but we've lingered a fair bit. My fault mostly, sorry.

The following morning the group packed there things and headed for Fuschia, Rodney running ahead of the group screamed "First stop, Safari zone!"

[HEADING=1] Chapter 9: We're going on Safari![/HEADING]

"Koga this time? That is quite a ballsy move to challenge him," Joel said to Rodney, "his poisons are really harsh. I should look for some more antidote-like plants." Joel wandered to the edge of the road and began examining various plants along the roadside, picking up bunches of leaves every once in a while and sticking them in a pouch at his side. Anyone close enough could hear him saying to himself, "these will do well, and so will these, oh, and this will make it taste better."

 

[Dastardos]

Ashley ate her ice cream sundae in peace with the group. They mingled amongst themselves for a little, talking about random things and such, but she stayed focused on her sundae. She loved Caramel.

Rodney then announced it was time to leave. She told him that if it wasn't a problem, she'd like to go with them. He nodded in agreement, and Joel and Jeff both cracked smiles.

After finishing her dessert she walked with he group back towards the hotel. Jeff seemed to linger behind though. He was walking with the group, but was at the very back. He seemed depressed, and upset that maybe his pride was crushed. Ashley turned around and ran back to him.

"Hey I want you to know that what you did today was very brave. You did get the shit beat out of you, but there was nothing you could do about it. You were outnumbered. I love people who aren't afraid to stand up for what is right. To bad you got that waitress's number." She then kissed Jeff on the cheek and ran to her room.

Returning to Magnus' room, she quickly took another shower. Drying off she got dressed in her pajamas. She got dressed in her favorite pajamas. She got in her matching laced red undies, and wore a low cut T that revealed her belly button with a heart over her breasts.

She then settled down on the couch to sleep, leaving the bed for Magnus and his lady friend.

Waking up in the morning she quickly took another shower, and got dressed in similar clothes from the past day. She packed her things and doubled checked to make sure she had everything. She released Leaky and poured him some breakfast, and continued to pack. Once he finished, she threw her backpack over her shoulders and went down to the main lobby.

Before stopping in the lobby, she went to the dining all and stuffed a few crescents into her backpack. Keeping one in her hand, she began eating it as she made her way to the lobby. Arriving there she saw most of the group packed and ready to go. Optimistically she squeaked "I'm ready."

"You're wrong, Joel..." Magnus corrected Joel. "Koga's one of the Kanto Elite Four. His daughter Janine took over the Gym a few years ago, remember?"

They walked with the group, Magnus had a map in his hands and was plotting the course for the trip.

"It looks like we'll be heading east, then going along the series of bridges south of Lavender Town... Lavender..." Magnus's mind went back to the night when Team Rocket invaded Lavender Town and drove them out. Magnus clenched his fists when he remembered that horrible night.

"Wait, when did that happen?" Joel said to Magnus, clearly surprised by this development. "I guess it has been a while since I've been to Fuschia. Man, why does it seem like every girl I hung out with when I was young is now a gym leader. Erika, Sabrina, and Janine. Aari, Ashley, you two better be ready, because you may both be future gym leaders." Joel laughed, still gathering herbs and other plants, he knew Janine had some tricks up her sleeve.

"Really? How did you not know?" Brandon asked Joel. As soon as he did swore to him self for sounding stuck up again. Hell the only way he knew was that Rena was Sabrina's cousin. Man I've got to watch what I say

The group approached the outskirts of Vermillion, headed east towards Route 11. After a while, the group reached Diglett's Cave, a landmark of Kanto, filled with millions of Diglett and Dugtrio, said to have been carved by the Ground-Type Pokemon over many years.

"It's amazing..." Magnus remarked. "Can you imagine how long it took to carve this cave? So, do we keep going, or does anyone want to take a trek inside the cave?"

"I'm good for now," Jared said. "I really want to get to Fuschia, they got the Safari Zone there, and I would just love to see how I would do on one of those Pokemon catching expeditions." Plus it would be nice to catch something. Jeez, seems like forever ago that I caught Shelley.

"Alright, then... Let's continue onward." Magnus said, seeing that no one wanted to enter the Tunnel.

The group walked along Route 11, a grassy plain intertwined with a small road that snaked across the field. Various Pokemon hopped in and out of the grass, hunting for food and being chased by Trainers.

The group reached a series of bridges that connected small patches of concrete along a river, also known as Route 12.

"This is a big river..." Magnus remarked when he saw the vast size of the slow-moving river.

"yeah big river dang big river so we gonna cross it" jeffery asked whilst taking a few steps onto the bridge but out of nowhere one of the boards broke sending his foot down stuck in the bridge. "huh first the bikies and then this you guys ever get the feeling that the world hates you" jeffery asked pulling on his leg but to no avail. "uh dang anyone wanna help or not it`s cool I think I got this" jeffery said trying one pig pull but still no result. "fuck" jeffery muttered under his breath.

TYF this isn't an old rickety rope bridge... this is a good size, professionally done bridge, more like a series of piers really. They're not going to break under your weight. Think, mate.

Magnus helped Jeffrey out of his situation and then continued walking.

"Jeffrey, I think that you just have bad luck." Magnus said smugly, the group continued walking.

Rodney pointed at a sign that read "Bridge under construction, some parts may be loose watch your footing" while saying "Nope wasn't the curse of Jeffrey, just not reading".

They continued along the bridge now more mindful of their steps.

The group of Trainers continued along the series of bridges southward until the reached a house. The house was actually more of a cabin, and a sign outside said 'Fishing Guru, The Younger. Super Rods available for free use.'

"Super Rods? Those are some of the best fishing rods out there. You can catch things you wouldn't normally catch with another rod." Magnus said. "Maybe we can come back and check it out later, like on our way back."

Magnus had noticed that Aari had been thinking deeply about something. He didn't know what, but she had been that way since the Restaurant.

Was it because I told her that I love her? Magnus, you're an idiot. You don't tell a girl that you love her this early in the relationship... But I meant it, I really did.

The group reached Route 13, with lots of long grass and wild Pokemon in the area. Magnus saw several rare Pokemon that weren't common most other places, he assumed they were overflow from the Safari Zone that had escaped the reserve.

"I think this is a good place to stop, eh guys?" Magnus asked them. It was approaching sunset, and the group wouldn't be able to cover much more ground.

Aari looked at the Pokémon in the long grass, it gave her a thrill. She didn?t know what to catch, though. She released Togetic and grinned.

"I think this is a good place to stop, eh guys?" Magnus asked them.

?Uh, yeah? there?s tons of Pokémon? Aari said, keeping her eyes on the long grass.

She walked over to a patch until she felt more shaking. It came from her back, Aari slipped off of her bag & looked at the egg inside, a small crack had appeared..

?Magnus, I think it?s about to hatch? Aari yelled, unprepared.

[sup]I?ll tell him now, it?ll work.. Oh crap, it?s hatching..[/sup]

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"It's hatching? Now?" Magnus asked as he heard Aari yell to him. He grabbed his bag and pulled out the Mareep-skin blanket, and anything else they might need.

"Alright, guys... come on out!" Magnus let out all of his Pokemon to go enjoy themselves. He returned to Aari with the blanket, with Reynard and Quillz following him. The two Fire-Pokemon sat down and looked at the egg.

"Joel! Come over here, and bring Eve! The Egg's hatching!" Magnus called over Joel, as the egg's mother needed to see it hatch.

Aari placed the egg in the warm wool blanket and watched as it quivered, more cracks appearing on the surface.

A loyal & pleasant smile crossed Aari?s face as she seen a small paw pop out of the egg. Joel brought Eve over & they awaited the hatching of her egg. Next were the eyes, like small stars. More paws popped out & then a long furry tail. The tail looked elegant, it was long & lush. The small Eevee?s head popped out as it stared at Aari.

?It?s so damn cute..? Aari whispered.

Aari picked the small Eevee up & cradled it like a mother would do to it?s newborn. She smiled and looked at Joel & Magnus.

?Want to hold it?? Aari asked them.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"It's adorable..." Magnus said smiling. "Let me hold it..."

Aari handed the little Eevee to Magnus, who carefully cradled it in his arms.

"It's beautiful... Reynard, look at it. This is part of you... Isn't it beautiful?"

"Vulpix..? Vuul." I did that..? Wow.

"Yeah, you and Eve did that... Look at it. Look at its fur, it's almost white... Aari, this little Eevee is an alternate colored Pokemon... Let's see if you're a boy or a girl..." Magnus picked up the Eevee's tail and checked between its hind legs.

"We've got ourselves a little..."
