I remember reading an article about how pokemon "might" do some DLC, and I was thinking, what would be good DLC ideas other then "add event pokemon"?

for me, things I would buy:
1) A hard-mode dungeon that requires lvl 100 pokemon, and can go 50+ floors deep, almost any pokemon can show up, no pokecenters, and maybe limited items (if that can be done)

2) Secret housing (per GEN III and IV). It doesn't even need to be underground or a cave, a place where you can make a home and invite people for mini games or HUBs for private trades/battling would be cool

3) New features/buildings like a casino (it really needs to come back), or a hard quiz-tower, or additional buildings to do in the city to make it feel like a city.

what I would NOT buy:

1) New areas. (New being additional to Kalos, not the previous regions). I don't feel adding new regions would add too much to the game, other then a few new pokemon to catch, and a few easy trainers to beat.

2) New Pokemon.

3) Decor for pokemon Amie

what are your thoughts/ideas?

I would buy a new area, if is not like "It's just a forest, but with diferent pokemon in it". But maybe a couple new areas and things do to, like new gym challenges or something in those lines...
And I don't care what anyone says, I would definitly buy the Johto regions starters with mega evolutions, Cyndaquil been my favorite pokemon and all, they need more love, Nintendo. Much more love.

I wouldn't mind a new area as DLC, particularly one containing a Battle Frontier type park since X / Y seems devoid of that other than the Battle Maison place.

I'd doubt you would have to pay anyway. The owner doesn't believe in paid DLC for Pokemon.

If Pokemon were to ever get DLC ala expansion packs they would probably be free anyway.

The only thing I can see as being DLC would be different battle styles.

I just don't think it's fair to the players (no matter how cheap the DLC is) to release Pokemon behind a paywall.

The only thing I can get behind for something like that are long gone event Pokemon from Ruby and Sapphire.

Other then that, I don't want to see any form of DLC in Pokemon.

Has Pokemon ever done a DLC? I wasn't aware.

I'd be cool with anything as long as it isn't "pay five dollars and get a Mudkip!" or nonsense like that. Whilst I probably would pay five dollars for a Mudkip, I wouldn't feel good about it and it isn't a good thing to do in what is primarily a children's game.

Pack together all of the unobtainable/event exclusive Pokemon and sell them to us already. I don't see any way I'm going to get a Deoxys, Keldeo, Genesect, etc without buying a cheat device.

I wouldn't pay for shiny Pokemon or, version-exclusive Pokemon (want a Sawk but didn't by the right version?! Give us money and you can have it!). I wouldn't pay for Starters either (Sure, you say you like Fennekin but we both know you want Totodile!)

I can agree with a challenge dungeon though: Sounds like a great idea. Especially if it had high-level trainers and, rare Pokemon to catch (rare as in, event or starter or lesser-legendary).

Elite Four rematches are what I really want, was really disappointed that there isn't any round 2 in the game.

They should also make a few changes to make the group has challenging as possible.

For example Each member will have.

>Their Pokemon between the levels of 75-80

>A full Team of Six.

>They use held items and well thought out move sets, taking advantage of all that good stuff. Like entry hazards and status moves.

> Finally, each member will Mega evolve at least one Pokemon.

For those who haven't reached the group yet and don't want to know their names I'll spoiler this next part.

Wikstrom could mega evolve his Scizor or add an Aggron to his team and mega evolve it.

Malva could use Mega Houndoom.

Drasna could use Mega Garchomp

Siebold could use Mega Blastoise.

Ideas for their round two teams.

Wikstrom (Steel)

AegiSlash
Scizor
Aggron
Empoleon
Ferrothorn
Skarmory

Malva (Fire)

Pyroar
TalonFlame
Chandelure
Houndoom
Magmortar
Delphox

Drasna (Dragon)
Dragalge
Garchomp
Salemence
Goodra
Noviern
Haxorus

Siebold (Water)
Clawitzer
Blastoise
Milotic
Barbaracle
Politoed (He should open up with this and it should have drizzle.)
Greninja

Really? I would pay for Kanto. Nostalgia dies hard.

Not really a DLC perse, but I remember being young with Red/Blue and there where all sorts of these crazy rumors, hidden areas and what not... and It be pretty badass if they made Kanto with all of them. A secret "garden" behind bills house with "PokeGods" in it. Actually moving the S.S. Anne truck to get Mew, that sort of thing.

An "adult edition".

No, not porn. Just something a bit more.....mature. New mechanics like permadeath could really add a lot to pokemon. If your pokemon gets taken down by an attack that would have done a lot more damage if they had more health, there is a chance that they die. This will encourage people to have more then just the one party of six. They would need to catch and maintain a diverse stable.

More freedom when it comes to starters. With the amount of pokemon there are now, we should be choosing from a pool of at least 100 pokemon. I know you can ditch your starter and trade to get whoever you want but your first pokemon should be a best friend and partner. Not cannon fodder to be discarded.

Well, besides the Casino idea... (because I nearly sold my entire playtime on Ruby/Emerald gambli-I mean playing the Pokeslots all day...) I want the POKƩNAV back...

I know they kinda evolved it into the PSS, but I liked having those random trainers you meet and battled along the routes calling you up for a rematch from time to time... Even the gym leaders you faced would sometimes call you to ask for a rematch!

Also, I would like to have my favorite PokƩmon walking beside and/or behind me wherever I go... It's the most minor thing I want, but it will really emphasize with the whole "being more connected with your PokƩmon" thing...

Come on, PokƩmon Z... Convert that energy ball of yours into this thread's DLC ideas...

Well, you could always do a Nuzlocke run. You can only catch the first PokƩmon you run into for each area and permadeath. Which is incidentally my answer to the question.

I'd absolutely love a hard-mode dungeon thing. I'd hope that it would, much like they did with White Tree Hollow and the other one (only had W2), scale. YOu'd be able to access it from the beginning (it'd be just south of your town), and you can't go further until you progress in the story. Once you've completed the story, all the area would be unlocked and eventually you'd meet world famous trainers. You'd meet each games protagonist with a 'canon' team based off what you chose (past protagonists have the same starter type as you, so Red would have Blastoise if you chose Froakie) and a final battle would occur with some new character or whatever (possibly AZ, but with an actually good team). Of course, this would probably not be possible to implement in X and Y, but if they considered it from stage one of creation of Gen VII or the inevitable X2, Y2 or Z (or possibly A and B version).

I'd buy a Mystery Dungeon style DLC, where there is a certain area you can go and basically play that but with the pokemon in your party.

Other than that, not much.

More trainer customisation, especially for males. Their options are severely lacking compared to the ladies'.

The fact the 3DS has the potential for pokemon DLC really excited me, they can add so much to the game with DLC.

What I would like to see?

new held items
new gym challenges
New Pokemon?
new areas
DLC pokemon reskins, such as mystery dungeon style accessories like scarves
Maybe the ability to select different starters on a new game.
DLC clothing
custom DLC battle music

Are you kidding? Guy's got the better, more varied options. If you're playing as a lady, your options are to dress very skimpy or wear a dress. And pretty much all of it will be in very girly colors.

But yes, more customization items would be nice.

And if Game Freak is hinting at what I think they're hinting at, we'll be seeing some new legendaries and Mega evolutions.

I'd pay to be able to go back to the older gyms in the older regions, like in Heartgold and Soulsilver.

I don't think I want DLC for Pokemon...I think the furthest I'd go is new Mega Evolutions, but flat-out new Pokemon would remove the "magic" and "feels" of a new generation.

I don't see what I'd want outside of that, and I'd be fine with nothing at all.
