BLAZIKEN! CROBAT! GOLEM! SCEPTILE!!!! the pokemon i currently have on Emerald, they're awesome and everyone knows it! but very ocasionally we train those forgotten pokemon that no-one likes, like Volbeat, Koffing, Pachirisu. So the question today is what pokemon have you trained that are often just left in the long grass, and sometimes with good reason!

I think my most unusual pokemon were Persian and Nosepass, both not bad at all! also they were both strangely good at electric attacks

also i once had a Smeargle on emerald that knew Volt Tackle, Water Spout, Flamethrower and Solarbeam! BEAT THAT smeargle trainers! :p of course it was completely useless for battles but for showing off it was the bee's knees!

The only Pokemon I have ever trained for more than a couple of levels is a Pidgey (and the evolutions when it evolved). There's nothing like defeating every trainer in the universe with what is pretty much just a pidgeon, and since it was the only Pokemon that I ever fought with it ended up vastly out-levelling all my enemies.

Yeah, I trained my Pachirisu up to level 100... Awesome with status moves and Super Fang, haha.

catterpie, in the original games
I actually leveled that little critter to 40-ish before I allowed it to evolve
hilarious to beat people at school (back when it was allowed) with a ridiculously bad-ass catterpie

Slacking, Machamp , smeargle,

When i used to played Diamond , i would beat almost everyone with those 3 pokemon

Protip: When slacking uses giga impact (which makes a pokemon recharge after attacking ) he recharges on the same turn he slacks off, which makes it the ideal Stab move for him for HEAVY dammage

My little Shuckle. I made that thing badass.

Badass
I use a Shuckle as well.

Trying to get a shiny one, but no luck thus far.
I have a Shiny one :D, but I trained the Skitty and made it my own.

I remember in Red I played through with a joke team of Nidoking, Rapidash, Eevee(unevolved), that pokemon that looks like a pokeball that blows itself up, Ditto, and some water pokemon I can't remember. Either Starmie or the evolution of goldeen.

They didn't do terrible. I dunno how many other people trained those though.

I haven't played a pokemon game since.

In my team for Pokémon Blue I still have an Onix at lvl 92 (for no reason at all) and a Slowbro at lvl 95, just because he's awesome!

I trained one of those to lvl 100 - my first lvl 100 actually, and the first pokemon I caught. Good times.

Smeargle can make badass team. let him learn belly drum and baton pass from another pokemon with his ability move thing, and baton pass to something else with a high damage physical move.

Slackings are optional for this, I've seen someone wipe out a team of legendaries with a Bidoof using this trick.

I recently decided it'd be interesting to play Pokemon Red with ONLY poison pokemon both as a challenge and to experience pokemon that I'd never otherwise use.

My team: Venosaur, Gengar, Venomoth, Tentacruel, Golbat, Nidoking

Sabrina will either be the ultimate roadblock or the grandest victory.
