Pineco. Why is there never any love for the Pineco?

He's an exploding pine cone, and the only Pokemon that can use self-destruct without killing himself.
explain please!!!
Explain...what? The self-destruct thing?

Pineco has the ability Sturdy. It protects him from 1HKOs, including ones inflicted from moves like Self-Destruct(depending on the generation, of course).

The only Pokemon I have ever trained for more than a couple of levels is a Pidgey (and the evolutions when it evolved). There's nothing like defeating every trainer in the universe with what is pretty much just a pidgeon, and since it was the only Pokemon that I ever fought with it ended up vastly out-levelling all my enemies.

<-- Most powerful creature in the universe
Way back when I use to play my Fire Red version, I found a shiny Pidgey. It was a golden badass.

I don't know if anybody has said it, but in my White version I am training Ferrothorn as part of my third level 75 team of 6.
It is grass/steel. It has great defense and attack power. It also has: Iron Barbs: If this Pokémon is touched, the opponent will receive damage.

It is sloooooooowwww. At level 44, its speed is still 29, but it makes up for it because of how powerful its gyro ball attack is because of that speed.
I also like how it looks like it wouldn't be very fun to touch.

500 gold well spent
They brought it back in Black and White; there is a guy on Marvelous Bridge, the same 500 deal.

I trained a Feebas to level 60 trying to get a Milotic, not realising you had to max its beauty stat to do so.
Now, ironically, I can't even do that as my Sapphire has suffered the clock glitch so I can't grow berries to improve any of its attributes.
I'm glad they changed Feebas in Black and White. Now all you have to do is trade it with a Prism Scale to evolve it.

Exeggcute. Going to evolve it eventually, but I'm experimenting with its new Harvest ability.
When I got my Heart Gold version, I decided that I would train at least one pokemon that I had never trained before, and it was an Exeggcute, now it is an awesomely powerful Exeggutor.

Lvl 100 catterpie
Deceptively awesome
I had an even more deceptive caterpie.

Back in Gen 1 with my Red version, after I had played it for a long long time, I had several level 100's. Well after many battles with them with a friend, I got tired of trying to train so many level 100's.

I don't actually remember when I got it back then or if it was some weird present from somebody(I'm already loosing parts of my childhood memory, how sad), but I got a Pelican Gameboy Game Editor. Basically you put a game in it and you can edit variables and items and things.

It was an insane device to use on pokemon games. I could stick in the game, take some random pokemon in my team that I just captured and change it into any pokemon in the game. Along with that, I could give the pokemon any four moves I wanted it to have, no matter if it didn't learn them, plus automatically make it level 100 with boosted stats.

Well I decided to change the pidgey I had into a caterpie. I made it level 100, boosted the stats a bit, and gave it a few moves I thought would be hilarious.

Well it came time to play against my friend again, though, I hadn't told him about the editor. He threw out his level 100 Venusaur and I threw out the 100 Caterpie. He laughed because he thought I had actually trained a 100 Caterpie, he thought his Venusaur was going to get rid of it in one hit.

Well my Caterpie moved first and it used Flamethrower, and killed the Venusaur in one hit. He knew something was up of course, then threw out his Arbok, and my caterpie used Psychic and downed it. It also knew Surf and Tunderbolt, and it beat his team without getting hit. I of course told him about the editor afterwards and made some other hilarious and strange teams.

The first pokemon game I ever played was saphire and I didn't really know what the hell I was doing so I went through the entire game with a Blaziken, a Peliper and a Lombre (not realising it could evolve). I sometimes think back to that and wonder how the hell I beat the game.

My greatest achievement in Pokemon Raising, my Alakazam that I trained from a lowly lvl 8 Abra from above Cerulean. I trade/trade-backed it to some kid I met (he traded a Haunter) and rasied it legitimatly to 100. This was on Pokemon Blue.
In the Hoenn games, I like to catch a Ralts to train it into a Gardivoir as my secondary Main. It is my spiritual successor to my Alakazam, as I have a thing for psychic types.

I once did a playthrough where I had my starter, and the first five different pokemon I caught,in red. And everyone knows what that means. It was squirtle, ratatta, pidgy, weedle, and caterpie. I've never been more frustrated for the first two hours of that game than I was at that time. But I'll be damned if it wasn't an awesome challenge

Slaking. Sure, he has to wait a turn to attack every time, but it's soooo worth it! I love my pig nosed giant!

My Ariados is deceptively strong and annoyingly efficient.

And my Bronzong. So much badassery. Seriously. It tanked a STAB-boosted, Sunny day fueled, Critical hitting flare blitz from a Infernape with 11 HP left. God, I love heatproof.
