If you?re talking about the year, then yes it does exist.

If you?re talking about the end of the world predictions then it is about as real or fake as any other end of the world prediction. The thing is though, if anything does happen, even if it isn?t the literal end of the world, so many people will take credit and not because they deserve it. Let?s just say with how often these predictions happen and how often things happen, one day, one of them is going to line up. And then people will try to explain to them coincidences do in fact exist, no matter how many fictional stories from many different forms media say otherwise.

Either way, the day after this is supposed to go down, I?m coming on the internet to lol at the excuses.

Yeah, I know, there are some stupid people out there that think this. There's a lot of stupid people out there, who believe a lot of stupid things. But the majority of people don't care about this 2012 thing, because it's obviously stupid. Everyone knows why, I don't have to repeat it. All that said to me was "don't live in the states". Advice taken my friend, advice taken. All you basically said was the end of the USA, not the world unless that is the extent of the world to you and that this comment is coming from a non-existant fairy land outside of your realm, in which I'd like to say "Greetings lesser being, welcome to te internetzorz".

I can only speak from personal experience. America is my country of origin and, for the foreseeable future, my home. To cut a long story short, living in another country is not an option that's open to me. Given that, I wouldn't mind seeing the world end.

I can guarantee you this, though; the rest of the countries of the world aren't that much better off. Not really.

Wow, that's pretty selfish to desire the end of the entire world just because the country you live in, and have no choice of moving from, doesn't quite meet your expectations. On top of that you makes claims that everywhere else is fucked over even though (from the sounds of it) you've never left your "land of doom" to go see for yourself. I'm sorry but even though you claim to hate the way the USA has become you had just made yourself look like a typical American, ignorant of the world stage with very little reasoning. Well done on that part.

Again, I can only speak from personal experience. I'm not a saint, I never claimed to be an optimist or an altruist. I realize it's selfish. I don't care. It's not my place to suffer for the betterment of the rest of the world, and if offered an escape of the kind being discussed here, I will take it with no qualms whatsoever. Maybe in countries other than America, everyone has a Messiah complex and would act differently, but I wouldn't know.

Incidentally, I don't hate America. I love my country. What I hate is the shallow mockery of a country its people have allowed it to become.
