I don't want to see DB, period.
Yeah, I've never watched it, and won't begin to either, as, you know, it's a kids show. And I'm 18.

And I'm guessing the film will be aimed at kids too. Or it will try and pull an older crowd and fail.
ha not a kids show watch the uncensored version there enough blood in the first ten episodes to fill the great lake up
Well, that obviously elevates it to the level of high drama...

If MST3K was still around, then this movie would be perfect fodder. Otherwise its going to fail on an EPIC level.
There's still RiffTrax by the same people, and I doubt they'd give such a gem a miss.
Wait, does Rifftrax do entire movies? If so, I'll probably only watch their version of DB

Well, that's the point, isn't it? The stuff they put on YouTube are only samples.

Man, I loved the cartoon but very rarely does that sort of concept actually translate well to live action so for me, no.

Anyway, to be fair, the YouTube link given in the first post is only a fan trailer (there are only about a billion of those in circulation). The official trailer is, well, a slight bit more professional:

Still sucks, though. Feels a bit like the D-War of 2009...

Simply no... I do not wish to see all my treasured DB memories stepped on then lit with fire and put out by p***... just...no.

Then again, my childhood was horribly fucked up, and if they're going to rape my childhood, they might as well do it thoroughly, right? Mum always said never leave anything half finished.

Akira toriyama, the creator of it said it is kid friendly. when the show was on air it had more blood than stigmata and now it is dumbed down by the FCC for family values.

No you don't, because it never happened.

Anyway, no, I don't think I'll see that film. Well, I might....Who knows?

Why would I want to see this travesty? Seriously. The anime ranks right up there with barney the purple dinosaur for intelligence and ability to keep my attention, which is to say, the first thing I think when I see it is "oh crap! oh crap! Where's the remote! I've gotta change the channel before my TV implodes from the total vacuum of sheer suckiness!" I don't believe the live action will do anything to improve on my opinion of DB.
