Well you got Super Mario Brothers, Super Mario Lands, Super Mario Worlds, Mario 64, Mario Galaxy, Mario Party's, Mario Golf's, Mario Tennis's, Mario Karts, Super Mario Toilet Scrubber etc.Phenakist said:True Mario is bigger but he's kind of a jack of all tradesawesome all the same
Yeah, I can see what you mean but with all the platformers added up it's pretty big! Or you can just do the Mario Karts, they were pretty big!
How on earth can you put Metal Gear Solid, Call of Duty and 007, all with only one truly great game each buried in mounds of mediocrity, ahead of Mario, Zelda, Sam and Max, Metroid, Resident Evil, Mother, Prince of Persia and Wario Land to name but a few, all of which have consistently produced excellence?
I know a list like this is hard to draw up, but some of those choices are just baffling.

I fully respect that, since that's why I hold games like Ocarina of Time in high regard...When if I went back and played it today, it probably wouldn't be as good. But it was more of the adventure of the thing, the immersion, the talking with my friends about how to beat the water temple, you know, that sort of thing, because I was young and it was pretty cool.Vrex360 said:

OK.. I think we need to remove the "other" option. That is WAY to easy to go for. Make it an actual choice instead of "Well, that one nobody liked but I did." or "There was that one you forgot." I'm not saying that there isn't a better series up there, but... For one, I know a lot of other people (not me) will be upset because Gears isn't up there, along with Final Fantasy and the Super Mario series.
