Poll: A tough moral decision.

So let me set the tone,so your in a post apocalyptic town(like megaton in fallout 3)and your trying your best to help save the towns people when an evil person kidnapps 5 docters and one of your family members.Now you have to choose who to save,there both locked in separate boxes that are riged with explosives and as soon as you open one the other explodes.Now if you save the docters they could help save countless lives in the town but,you also hold a close bond with that family member so you're tempted into saving he or she.So who do you choose?Personaly i would go with the doctors because its more selfless and more helpfull to the town.So who do you guys(or girls)choose?

I'd save the doctors as they will do more good then any of my family members and in a post-apocalyptic world you and your family could die at anytime anyways so you might as well save the guys who can save someone else.

What does the greatest amount of good to the greatest amount of people? The doctors, it's not even a though choice. Assuming that is, that one of the cages must be opened. If bribes and/or ransom could be arranged, I'd choose that.

Depends... I'm too selfish to see my sister die, but if its someone in my family who isn't really much alive any more, I'd have to do the right thing.

I really don't think I could go on with life, especially in a post-apocalyptic world without my sister.

Well, you see, I would get a blow torch and cut my way into my family member's box, then get him/her out, then go to the doctos' one and open the door.

If I'm not allowed to do that ...??? Doctors, after all, it is always handy to have multiple medical proffessionals owe yo their lives, especially in an apocalyptic wasteland.

Neither. The doctors are probably greedy and self-absorbed, thereby rendering them useless in the manual labor necessary to build and maintain a post-apocalyptic society. My family is also just as useless in the given situation. I would politely ask the evil genius if I could instead have some food and water.

I would probably end up choosing the doctors, but chances are that I would save the family member as well. If I did choose the doctors, I would hope that I got to speak to the family member before opening the other box.
