There are five doctors in a megaton-like setting? Well, if there are five available to put in the box, why not have a sixth outside the box? Since a small town of post-apocalyptic survivors only really needs one doctor, the five in the box become expendable. Also, what kinds of skills does my family member have? How old is my family member, and how old are the doctors?

I would probably be in cahoots with the evil person and there wouldn't be anyone to save because they would be amongst the rubble of the town.

But in all seriousness I would probably save the Family Member. My family is so close that it would be devastating if I would lose one. Besides how would I know that the doctors could be trusted. Most of my family are doctors/nurses so it all works out .

I voted doctors, but it's not because I feel like they're morally the right choice. It's because I don't really feel much of a bond with any of my family members. 5 > 1.

I would have to choose neither. If I were trying to rebuild society, it would need to have a backbone. This means no negotiating with terrorists.

But if I had to choose someone... It would be the doctors because I can't see myself having any close family members left over in this post apocalyptic wasteland. All the good ones are old already and the youngins are dirty and ungrateful.
