I have played ac:B multiplayer quite a bit and I have noticed that in some matches no one actually playes properly. The game encourages stealthy play but people just run at each other and forrget being sneaky at all I can't recount the ammount of times I have played manhunt(team DM kinda) and I have stalked and carefully tailed for a while and as I go to sink a 600 point kill, my team-mate will just sprint in to the area and stab them with no stealth for a 100 point kill.

When the game is played properly it is great as you all try to out npc one-another, and during chases across rooftops and though alleys can be very hectic and exciting. But more and more matches are just dissolving into full frontal fights instead of sneaky sneaky stabby whehay.

I use a mix of stealth and desperate running when I play. I prefer the stealth ofc, but sometimes the running is effective as well.

Yes, that is annoying to no end. It would've been nice to have a game mode that actively penalized you for breaking stealth: for example, getting a kill when your visiblity bar is nearly empty would actually subtract points from your score, while climbing/roofrunning would instantly light you up like a strobe light.

A man can dream, I suppose.

Well going all stealthy is more satisfying you have to have a lot of patience and pray no one else seals your kill. Maybe other players are just not patient enough.

I just hate it when they run at you and use poison. They ruin the flow and still get crapload of points.

I still use a gun and a smoke bomb. Either use that or pratice to predict their movements.

In the end, who's going to have more points? The guy who ran all the time, killed 11 people with 100 point each, or the guy that kept it cool with a 4000 points lead?

Excuse my ignorance, but what's so unbearably annoying about people exposing themselves and thereby putting themselves at a vast disadvantage?

I found a good medium area, I jog around, going through those doors that close when you go through them to throw off anyone following me. Then when I'm about to come within sight of him I start walking towards him and stab him. My tactic maximizes points and allows you to get kills faster. At least it's the best tactic I've seen so far.

But yes it's completely idiotic when people just knock over NPC's and climb onto the roof tops. It makes it SO easy for me though so I don't complain.

BTW anyone else FUCKING HATE poison? It's completely impossible for me to tell when I've been poisoned. One time I thought this guy was an assassin but he walked past me. So I thought "I guess he isn't" Then came up on my target and found I couldn't assassinate and then my screen turned green and I broke my controller.

Because it can be really hard to stealthy assassinate someone who's running along the rooftops, especially if you dont have a gun, your target running about makes it really hard to kill them without stoping being stealthy yourself, ruining the stealth aspect of the game for me

I only rush people if I need to because someone is chasing me or something like that

Considering the guys that do hide and use stealth end up being on top of the scoreboard while the guys running get a bunch of kills but still remain at the bottom might indicate that something is going as planned.

I understand this is very annoying but it happens less and less as you level up

What annoys me is templar vision. It makes all blending and hiding of any kind ultimately futile. I'm not saying that ubisoft should get rid of it just give it longer recharge time or something to make te game more balanced.

only rush when i´m being chased (run into a crowd and use camo(or something similar) is an exelent way to throwing off your pursuer and geting a stun on him)but i admit that i do rush when there are 15 seckonds left couse then i might be lucky and get that one extra kill 8P

but at all other times it´s all stealth all the way (try heading off your oponent if he´s runing around on rooftops and get him when he lands or starts hiding somewhere it´s dificult but worth it)

Wow. You've been able to get into an online match?

I've tried quite a few times and the servers are always "unavailable" or at least that's what it says. I haven't even played a second of multiplayer. I've never had this many problems getting a game online. Even on psn.

There are those assholes, but like you said, they only get 100 points for a kill whereas you get get 300 for a stealthy kill, 400 if you're incognito. I prefer hiding in a game of Manhunt. All you have to do is find a stall, or a bench, with plenty of characters like you nearby and stand still. You get 15 points every so often and you can get 100 points for the enemy killing the wrong guy. Much better to hide and laugh than to have to race to get a kill.
