That depends. Most of the time, I don't really pay attention to it. Other times, the ad itself may be funny, unique and cool but I still won't but the product (ex: the recent series of Snickers ads). And there are those rare occasions where I don't care about the ad itself, the new product being announced interests me. This last case is tantamount to someone basically informing me that it exists, could have just as easily been a friend.
