Poll: Alien Vs Predator 3 Comes out Feb. 16th

Defenetly not. Played the multiplayer demo and hated it. When you play as a predator, you have 3 attacks: One insta kill movie that you can only do when the square button comes up, which it never does. The other two is a normal melee attack and a heavy attack that is worthless.

The maps are also way to large for the ammount of players, so you have to spend quite a bit of time searching for them.

Also the health of your character is way too low, dying in only 2 hits from an ailien.

The insta kill is a stealth attack and the predator has 4 weapons they can pick up that vastly alter the play style, and there was only one map in the demo that fit 8 players well, plus the full version will have other modes, maps, and number of people so all of your points are flawed, but opinions are opinions

Hmm I AM curious to hear what Benicio Del Toro has to say about this game, even if I don't want to see his new Wolfman movie.

I liked the demo quite a bit, so yes I will be getting it. Just not this month, because my money is tight.

I hope that when I get money next month the online scene for this game will still be populated by a lot of people. This game sounds like an absolute riot online.

I was searching for reviews of the game earlier on and found that Gamespot have reviews the 360 and PS3 versions giving it a 5.5. I despise their website in every conceivable way and find that the review [http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/action/aliensvspredatorworkingtitle/video/6250849/aliens-vs-predator-video-review?tag=summary;watch-review] was horribly unjust. They kept saying "There's so many little things that pile up bringing it down" but they never even mention what these little things are. Bullshit review but it is still a little worrying.

Loved the demo.. although why did it have to be free for all? Team play would ahve been sooo much cooler. Favorite classes: Alien first!!!! Then Predator than Marine. My favorite part is how next to nobody looks in dark corners... and then I jump down and trophy kill em it makes me feel oh so superior. I got 26 kills as a Predator before figuring out I should stealth more... still fun and the stealth mode makes marines easy. Although the first Alien that still saw me made go do a headscratch.. then I played Alien again and realized that heat vision don't care about cloaks.
Marine was fun... but in a different way. you wanted an honest to god slugfest? Go Marine and enjoy. I thought the guns were too like other FPS's... adn thats why I went for AvP lol. If you liek that particular Halo-like tradition, go ahead. the classes are balanced, and even if single-player will be the weak point, it will be interesting.

Buying the game moment I can.

And I shall. Let's agree to disagree, but just understand that it is all relative. What seems shit to you feels like second nature to me, and a difference in opinions is simply down to a differing in two people's preferences.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. After gamespot was responsible for hyping up the game so much for me, the review seemed rather contradictory. He complained about the controls, and yet when I played they seemed completely acceptable. The only thing I acknowledged was the rather haphazard predator jump mechanic, but his complaint was probably because he was trying to jump out of a level boundary or something suitably ignorant. In fact, his complaints with controls were probably more down to his own ineptitude with the game, in the video he played absolutely terribly. It did get me rather worried though, seeing as IGN were the only website that gave it a decent review so far.

Haha, the PC version costs less than 25 euros at some major vendors like Play. They know the game stinks and want to offload their copies ASAP.

Im gonna buy it despite the reviews, game informer gave it an okay review stating that the Predator was "to stealthy".

The Game Informer review was crap, I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion but the guy who wrote for GI was complaining about "having to shoot aliens a lot" and he didn't like "being forced to use stealth as the predator." Excuuuuuse me? Those are what the AVP games are all about, those are selling points! Plus he didn't even touch on the multiplayer, which is what I imagine a vast number of people are buying the game for.

I know it may seem like I'm whining about a game I'm excited for getting a negative review, but I'm just jarateed off that that people are claiming the game will suck based on this guys word.

I agree. The man actually hated that the sound of your motion sensor didn't create the right atmosphere because you can't hear the aliens. Are you joking? That motion sensor is brilliant. Every time a dot appears I go on full alert.

That review is complete bullcrap. Game Informer: You have failed.
