Yes, just re-create Red and Blue. I'd buy it. I'd buy a new console just to play it. A fully rendered Kanto would be... fun to say the least.

They'd get cash in on the nostalgia and they only have to render 151 Pokémon and will have the perfect excuse to do so.
What is your avatar suppose to be, some trailer by Grasshopper?

I thought splicers couldn't use plasmids.

The opening of Bioshock 2 takes place on the night of the New Year's Eve Riots (pre-dystopia Rapture). Either way, Splicers like the Houdini Splicer get their powers from plasmids in the first place.

Well now I'm disappointed, that would've been a kick ass game. Just some guy wearing a diving mask whilst smashing people that sht lightning.

Eh, it's generally regarded as a big disappointment to fans of the first Bioshock anyway.

I've wanted a full, open world real-time pokemon game since I was 9. So, hell yes.

I'd imagine it as a pokemon mmo. Oh lord yes.

I think it would be fine, if they made the other trainers have a MGS style patrol-and-spot cone approach for choosing you as their victim. I'd also like to see this: map each of the four attacks to the four buttons, and have the trainer vocally call them out to the pokemon; map item, flee, and switch pokemon to the shoulder buttons.

Honestly, I'd rather see fully animated highly detailed hand drawn sprites as opposed to 3D-render based battles. I think they should keep the classic 2D top-down view as well, but I wouldn't mind another Colosseum/XD type game where they go with a more traditional 3D approach.

Pokemon feels like it was never really meant to be an RPG. I mean, why do all the bad guys in the game feel that they can overwhelm you by beating your animals instead of just kidnapping you or something? It makes them seem less humane and much less evil.

Why not have a bad guy that actually wants to hurt you and not make you cry all the way back to the Pokemon Center? Why not, then, use your Pokemon to defend yourself--to which the baddie responds by throwing out his own Pokemon to create a fair fight? I honestly wouldn't mind seeing the trainer get hurt. It adds to the intensity of the world. It's no fun getting to see Ass Ash ride his Charizard like a dragon but not be able to do it in the videogame. Full-on action adventure world work perfectly with this and, instead of going around getting badges to be the champion of... Pokemon, I guess even though there are still plenty of trainers still better than you, why not have a significant threat like in Ruby/Sapphire or Diamond/Pearl where some serious shit was at stake.

...

On a completely different note: am I the only one who thinks HMs should be done away with? They're an incredible nuisance and they distract from fully customizing your team since they take up a slot and you can't explore/fast-travel without them. Why not have HM's be taught through special minigames and just have them be acquired as skills instead of actual moves?

I'd like a Pokémon MMO if I'm honest.
And with graphics that aren't from the fucking Nintendo 64.

Yeah, because the pokeball Pokemon was so much better. Or the pile of sludge that evolves into an even bigger pile of sludge. I'm not saying that 600+ pokemon are good, but don't knock the newest games for stupid reasons.

And for the vote I'm on the fence. On the one hand I wouldn't mind seeing the critters in 3D, but on the other it wouldn't really add anything to the games except eye candy, maybe.

Hey what is Cell playing, Pokemanz? If I know him it's probably Dragon Quest.

Goku isn't prepared for Cell's Mew, it can learn any move just like him. Speaking of Akira Toriyama character designs in RPG's, Cell's first form and Lavos's final form in Chrono Trigger look very similar...

IMHO, soon enough someone will realize the opportunity and make an awesome 3D Tripe A JRPG for Xbox or PS3 which uses many of the same addictively irresistible qualities of collecting and battling with monsters encountered in the wild.

So? It's Akira's world, we're just living in it.
