Poll: All around my hat

[Good morning blues]

I own a couple of touques and a baseball cap that I wear only when I think I'm going to be spending enough time in the sun to risk heat stroke. I'd like to wear a cap around town, but old-fashioned hats like that have been pretty much completely co-opted by hipsters and greasy nerds who do not understand the concept of an "outfit," and I don't much feel like associating myself with either group.

If your hat doesn't match your shirt or jacket, you look like an idiot. That's all there is to it.

I have tons from over the years, but I never wear hats. I think the most random one I have is a Mario one I got as a prize from a Nintendo Club thing. I never took it out of the plastic yet though.

I have an Indiana Jones fedorah from Disneyland and a few of those round, full-brimmed hats from volunteering at the local Fringe festival. I also have one of those round-brimmed ones, but it's red and says "SWITZERLAND" all over it.

I used to want a trilby. Then I tried some on and I looked like a douche.

Wait, what? Yeah, my avatar is bright green, much like my singular hat, but that means nothing, surely?

I clicked 2, but it could be 3. I don't wear any of them, mostly because the one I like I just found the other day in a box, and I've grown my hair out to the point that it would look retarded poking out from under that thing. I kind of want a brown cowboy hat, but that's because it'd go well with a jacket I own, and I would fix up my hair to fit the role.

I'm not really a hat guy (I didn't grow this hair this long to cover it up), but I do have a few hanging around as collectibles, such as;

1 Green Legend of Zelda hat, depicting old school NES art Link and a Triforce
1 Grey Konami/Contra Code trucker cap
1 Hand knit black and white spiral beanie that my lovely wife made me (with matching scarf)

And that's about it.

I own a black bowler hat with a pair of steampunk goggles on it that I got from a local sci-fi convention and a Thai farmer's hat I got from a Renaissance festival. I think I'm going to try and get a strange hat every time I go to any kind of sci-fi/fantasy event.

I own many hats. 8 or so beanies (my favourite of which is a Goomba beanie), a several caps, a hat similar-ish to yahtzee's, a cricket hat, a fluffy top hat and a jester's hat with bells on.

One of my caps its the right size but normally leaves a red line along my head and its always swet lol.
