I've pulled one that lasted all night. I got up at about 7am in the morning before then I had my mate around for the night and we just got really into guitar hero 3since I had just started a new Xbox live profile and wanted to get as far as possible in the career. We finished hard after about 10 tries on Lou's guitar battle then started playing expert by the end we got stuck on Raining Blood and that was about 7am by that point. At about 8 (which is very early for us waking up) we went upstairs and asked my mum if we could go bowling. So we did. By the time we got a taxi back to mine it was about 5pm and we played a little COD 4 before we just looked at each other as went "Lets go to sleep!". Which we did. So that was fun! :p.

P.S. We drank only a can of Relentless energy drink each and it worked very, very well if anyone's interested on which is a good aid for these.

I don't pull all nighters since I find sleep to be a very enjoyable activity.

Most of the time it's me fixing a broken cycle, but other than that I did one the other night after a gig cause we were messing about with one of the bands.
I once went 48 hours without sleep.
That is the definition of pain.

I tend to pull all nighters every weekend. But Dora the explorer serves as my reminder to get some sleep. You see, at around 5 in the morning, the usual reruns of comedy central at night turn into nickelodeon. Nick jr to be exact. So whenever dore the explorer starts it means its well past 5 am. Time to get some sleep.

I have pulled an all nighter for prettu much all of those reasons.
When the latest edition of 40k came out, my games workshop stayed open 24 hours to celebrate. We all got mega crazy after drinking way too many energy drinks. i had about 15 cans of 24. Then, i got home, was about to go to sleep when my boss phoned up and told me i had to go to work because the health inspector was visititng and they needed all hands on deck as it were. I almost got fired after that, but i quit not long after anyway so meh
I also once stayed up and watched the first 6 series of stargate sg1 without a break. I slept for a weekend after that. This summer, i'm planning n watching the origional movie, all ten of sg1, all five of atlantis and both the straight to dvd movies. I'm just that hardcore

Deadlines.

Nothing keeps me more awake than the image of a disappointed art director not giving me my pay.

Incidentally, the parties after deadlines can run for days...

I have sleeping problems and a messed up sleep cycle.
Today is the first day in a week that I got up before 3 P.M.
I'm proud of myself.

Lately I've been going to bed at 5 A.M. and waking up at 3 P.M.
It's not fun at all.

I've stayed up all night due to (in order from most frequent to least)

boredom
parties
assignments
extreme fucking pain

The whole insomnia thing is so romanticized.

I generally try to avoid it, but I've done it a few times to fix sleep cycles and a few times because of fun gaming. But I've decided to stop doing the former and setting my alarm clock earlier instead.

I generally sleep less than 8 hours, since I need to wake up at 6AM to go to school. Anyway, one day, back in the days when I played WoW, me and my friend where playing. I looked at the clock, 10PM. Ok, a few more quests. NEXT time I look at the clock 5:45 AM! The sinking feeling in my chest as I realized I hadent slept at all was a unique sensation. Quit WoW a few months after that.

EDIT: And once upon a time, I spent like two days playing WC3 with a friend...
Straight.
your cool points just went up 1000 points.
Yes i have like a 3 days or something kind off. Slept for like 20 hours. All nighters are nothing new to me by the way.
I also ran up a $500 cell phone bill.

We relied on phones to coordinate our plans.
It took me roughly a year to pay off, back when I was getting an allowance.
oh. what game were you playin. just like matchs or custom and if you were playin custom what game.

Well I pull those all the time although yes I know it does horrible things to ur health. And why? Mostly for gaming and sometimes coz I just want to know how long can I stay up.
Personal best is 60 something hours, last 24 of wich my diet consisted of coffe and cigarettes.
