I sometimes don't sleep when I go to house parties, because I hate the feeling of waking up after only an hours sleep. SO I just stay away and watch a dvd or something while everyone else is asleep. Then wait for people to get up and fuck off home again when it's morning =D

I've never pulled an all nighter for studying though. Studying isn't something I do very often so I've never needed to

Sleep deprivation, when taken far enough, will definitely mess with your brain chemistry. On the other hand, it's all about training.
Well lets say someone Does take it far enough and they start to think and function differently. Will getting themselves on a healthy sleep pattern and staying like that fix there brain chemestry?

When I was still taking ComSci, I used to pull all-nighters all the time.

Now that I'm in Liberal Arts, only two things keep me up at night: Batman: the Brave and the Bold marathons and drinking.

I Find Your Lack Of Sleep Disturbing.
I Stay up playing games all night sometimes.
It doesn't make me go crazy. no matter what the King of the Potato people says.

I've worked eveninng and graveyard shifts for the past 2½ years, i'm used to beeing awake all night.

Now having to get up before 1pm can drive me crazy though.

you lack the option of "yes, a lot, and it doesn't make me crazy"

By "all-nighter" are we talking parties?

Yep, had plenty.

And the other, more boring "work" all-nighter. Had them too.

Yep.

I do quite a lot at the moment, but it's more like my sleeping pattern has completely shifted so I'm awake at night and sleep in the morning. I'm too lazy to try and change it to be honest.

Oh, I do work, but it's mostly late evening shifts. I like to think of it as living in American time (I'm British - work it out XD)

I cope with it extremely well for some reason, the only issue I have is my legs start to hurt near the morning. In the event my brain does go a little crazy I sleep for an hour and wake up fine.

Be careful doing all night game sessions in the dark. If your eyeballs start to twitch, go to bed. And yes I believe that playing video games for extensively long periods of time has an effect on the neurons in your brain.

It should, if all that's messing with you is sleep deprivation.

I used to pull all nighters back when I was in school, either studying for exams or playing video games with friends, but my body just can't handle that kind of abuse any longer. I've pulled maybe 3 all nighters in the past year and all three were due to insomnia.

I have a couple times.

My ex used to work the 3rd shift at Steak N Shake. He would work from 10 to 7. I would go up there with him sometimes and stay with him all night. It was fun and I never felt any effects from it.

Other then that, I only pull all-nighters if I have a game to play with one of my friends.

I hardly ever pull all nighters, but since I started college I imagine that will change soon. Also, to answer your second question, no, no I don't think it can affect you too much.
