FOR THE HORDE!

I'm definitely sided with the Horde.

Although if I still played I would make an Ally character just to try out the new Worgen class in the next expansion. I for one think that the Worgens should go with the Horde. :/
Agreed, I'm most likely going to make an alliance just for worgens

Alliance. They have Draenei, the best-looking race in the game, in my opinion.

Well, the females at least. The males are a lot like Tauren, but blue. The females look great though.

I don't play WoW, but the undead air guitar...That pretty much makes them the best thing ever...

I kinda want to play a single-player version of WoW, one which doesn't require gold farming and just takes you through the lore. I've always enjoyed Warcraft lore...

I play on Moon Guard (but oddly enough, am not very big into RPing) and someone made a statement awhile back regarding the whole "Worgen going to the Alliance" thing (and this is directed at nobody in this thread, its just an observation based upon my own server and the rather heavy amounts of ERP on it):

"You know what this means right? All the furries on our server that only play Tauren because of the animal characteristics will be moving over to the Alliance to make Pornshire (Goldshire for anyone that doesn't use that term on their server) an even creepier place to be."

To date, I'm not sure if this is Win or not.

Yup, that's it right there. Horde wins the dance-off. And as an undead, there is something very gratifying about being able to regain your health by eating the corpse of the person that injured you.

I love playing as a narcissistic a-hole with an entitlement complex. Thus, Blood Elf; thus, Horde.

I've played both, my first 60 was horde, but after him the rest of my players were all Ally, in the end I liked both sides for different reasons. I just spent the vast majority of the time as Alliance, wishing I had played Horde. So, I suppose I'm split with a leaning towards the Horde.

Call me boring, I play humans in any game I play. I hate Orc/ks in any game on the grounds that they're vicious, blood thirsty jerks. In WoW they play the "misunderstood" card. Look, if your favorite activity is killing living things that don't deserve it, you aren't misunderstood, you're a psychopath, and you need to stop it. The Caverns of Time instance that they try to make the Orc/ks look like the Jews to the Human Notsees made me physically ill.

On a plot point, I find it funny that people say the Alliance is "racist". The Horde races (with the exception of the Tauren, who are just cow hippies) either have tried or are currently trying to destroy the world and every living thing on it. Not accidentally, through pride, or just having a bad day, they deliberately, knowingly and with eyes open attempted to destroy the world. Is it at all odd that the Alliance would be distrustful, and even downright hostile to them? The Orc/ks can claim demonic influence all they want, but at the end of they day, they put two human kingdoms to the sword, and killed countless humans, and then had the unmitigated gall to claim to be the victims.

I used to play on Moon Guard myself (and may again if my damn friends get their way. They keep dragging me back in!) and I can't help but agree that the ERP (barely literate porn) was ridiculous. I tried playing alliance for the first time on that server, and was ashamed of my hobby every time I got within fifty feet of Goldshire. The real problem was that, being the overly literary super-nerd that I am, I really got into the RP aspect of the game. It was infuriating to me that one of the only places to find any sort of decent RP (Stormwind) was the same place that had actual, literal *WHORES* on the street at night. After about eighty hours of that, I had had enough of the Alliance.

So I went back to the Horde, and it was the same damn shit! Just replace Stormwind with Silvermoon. I hadn't played Horde very long after BC came out, so I didn't get to see the point at which Silvermoon City became the ONLY place to hang out. I also never saw the player transition from decent character development to "stereotypical douchebag Blood Elf". What used to be a group of *relatively* (emphasis) mature people who were genuinely interested in nerding it up devolved into the same mostly juvenile nymphomaniacs which infested Alliance cities. I'm going to sound elitist when I say this, but I think the Blood Elves were the worst thing that happened to the Horde.

Okay, okay, I guess I'll throw in my opinion on the whole "Alliance vs. Horde" thing. I play Alliance, simply because every jackass and a very few otherwise reasonable people I've ever listened to online say Horde.

Supposedly, the Horde has the more honorable characters, the more interesting story, the better PvPers, the more noble and helpful players, the best gear, the best raiders, the best baseball teams, the favor of Jeebus H. Buddha III himself, etc. These same people describe the Alliance as an open cesspit, infested with the dregs of humanity, whose pitiable ignorance of their lot in life is matched only by their unrelenting asshattery and noobishness.

These people, needless to say, can go jump in a lake. There is no huge difference inherent in the factions, and the only real social factor isn't determined by faction, but by server. RP servers forever, incidentally.

The Horde for me.

My reason can be quoted from Flintlock vs. The Horde
"It's the Alliance. Five races of midgets and morons, some from outer space. Who can say how they think?"
