I'd love it. AP impressed me.

Alpha Protocol was a nice little gem in 2010. I don't recall a lot of bugs that broke my experience.

I'd like to see an Alpha Protocol 2. Too bad they won't give it a chance.
Your avatar seems strangely familiar.

It'd be a shame for a game that tried so many things (and, in fairness, did none of them well) not to have a second chance.

Though a direct sequel would probably sink like a stone. It'd have to be more of a "spiritual successor;" new setting, new idea, new opportunities to better implement their mechanics. And of course, new protagonist.

I absolutely want it. There's a lot of room for improvement for the game, but I enjoyed it greatly. Alpha Protocol's problems are so clear-cut that there's no way they could screw them up again.

i rlly rlly enjoyed it, but they need to learn how to tone down the silly crouch thing. it was cheesy enough to ruin it for me

Sure as long as they fix one thing. The damned balance. Don't give me the freedom to make some super stealthy ninja then tell me I can't use any of my skills because I developed my character wrong for some huge forced gunfight.

A direct sequel to Alpha Protocol would be a really bad idea. The whole game is already a complete story and the open-endedness of the ending would make really hard to develop a direction for a sequel.

Setting another game in the same general universe with the same gameplay mechanics and dialogue system though? That would be more than welcome in my book.

I've seen this a lot. What exactly was so silly about it? It's pretty much how I would expect people to move quickly whilst crouched.

awful AWFUL gameplay, I cant think of a worse way to tackle such a concept. the story was alright but had so much potential... this should have been a straight stealth shooter without any rpg elements where only your loadout changes the way you play. it was an absolute mess.

I heard so many bad things, but I defied all the nay-sayers and bought it. Wow, it is a really enjoyable game! There are a few glitches, for sure, but the game is actually fun. If they can improve on this one, a sequel is more definitely welcome.

Anyone else want it? I just finished the game, and I found it amazing. Sure its graphics could be improved and gameplay but its universe was great and I loved its convo system that felt your desecions really held wieght.

So What do you guys think?
I would love it. They might have even learned from their mistakes -- but as it is it will not happen.

Sure, I'd be up for a sequel. Not the end of the world if it doesn't happen, though. I'm still perfectly satisfied with Mass Effect.

Sure. Make the story less shit, the AI less stupid, and the Player less of a douche. And make the level design stop locking out areas you've been to. I missed so many things, damn it!

The gunplay, melee, and stealth were polished enough, aside from the HUGE reticules.

Oh, and less buggy, too.

Obsidian has already said that Alpha Protocol is not on the table because of how much AP was panned by critics and didn't do that well in terms of sales.

Everyone I talk to though that's played it, myself included, would have loved a sequel

Yes. I would love a follow up on it.

But as a different character. And you can import your dude from the last game to be your new character's mentor. That would be cool.

Love to see it, but it probably won't happen. The game did not survive the initial round of reviews ti even consider a second life for the game.

Hated the game, the graphics sucked, buggy, retarded A.I.(shot one guy and his buddy just kept walking past him). I loved how the A.I.'s feet moved faster than they were walking, it was great seriously. I can't understand how a modern game can have issues that I have not seen since N64?. After playing the game for 30 min I stopped before it diminished the rest of my sanity.
The only reason I even rented that game is because some people said it rivals Mass Effect.
Well what could I expect from a game that Sega was involved with?
