Yes, I will admit that I am writing fanfiction. Right now, there's really only one incomplete one based on the Sonic universe, but I am planning on some other ones.

Haha, hmm, I've always thought of fan fiction as dumb. Now that the question has come up, I realized that I have actually written one myself. Back in sixth grade, I wrote a prologue/sequel to Majora's Mask; it was unwillingly similar to "The Monkey's Paw" and "Pleasantville." Damn, while I'm a little embarrassed by my hypocrisy, I have to admit that I'm mildly proud of my work; maybe one day I'll re-write it and try to be make it more original.

I've written several Left 4 Dead fanfics before, and all but one are so terrible I cringe to think of them.

I haven't written any fanfics, but I've considered a Mass Effect fic, and I am currently helping a user on here with his fanfic, which is basically a battle royale of a ridiculous amount of characters. My involvement is mostly proofreading and making sure he avoids derailing the characters for his own ends, though.

I have also read some of mscherbatskaya's fanfics. If anyone needs proof of the ability to write good fanfics, those are it. And I'm not just saying that because she is standing write behind me, either. (she's not)
