Ezio is my favorite video game character. He's just so likeable and you can relate to him. A rare quality in video game characters. And it's not very often that you get to play with a character from his birth to his twilight days and witness all the important events in his life and how they shaped him into a person he is. It's truly remarkable. Good luck to Ubisoft trying to create a better character any time soon. Or ever.

I liked seeing Ezio's development well enough, but I think his story could have been wrapped up in fewer games.

having only played 1 & 2. Ezio was the more interesting character, but it was pretty awesome that Altair was a muslim arab, something that you don't see much in gaming as a "good guy" and definitely not as a protagonist.

Altair..he has what it takes to be an Assassin..he's dedicated to the creed he just acts like a professional assassin, doesn't talk too much, he knows how to remain hidden from templars, he kills silently a cold blood killer, moving to the next point.. I'd be a dumbass if I said that I didn't like Ezio too he's just awesome got the skills the personality especially in Revelations he really shows what does it mean to be a Mentor (Mualim), Connor I liked his story, his childhood and the most thing I liked in him is the pride of being a mohawk red indian with so much caring about his people when he said "My people come first", his tomhawk, his way of fighting, him leading an army, him becoming a captain, the patient and brave kind of person he is, the hard times he went through..his mother's death, forcing himself to kill his own friend, having no choice but killing his dad and actually I'm so willing to see Connor in next AC games I liked him so much...but my choice would go for their grandmaster Altair ofcourse he's like the only one that seemed to know what exactly what he's doing without any regrets, blindly serving the creed cause he knows he's doing the right thing.

Haythem! such a badass!....(seriously though first thought was THIS guy is a boss)

anyway

Altair followed by connor are my favorites....Altiar was a professional..and Connor is similar in that he has a more serious air about him (in a more "native american" type way...them native americans are always very serious)

Ezio for whatever reason I found it hard to warm up to him

But judging from this

He'll at least be a runner up.
thats not a very acurite representation...as cool as it would be XD
The longer I played Assassin's Creed 3 the more I wished Haytham was the main character. He was awesome.
Connor was pretty meh.

Altaïr, the original and the best. He is the most realistic of them, because most of his gettup actually makes sense.

Ok for everyone bashing on Ezio saying he was incompetent a playboy rather than an assassin clearly don't understand why. Te reason he doesn't necessarily grow up intill Revelations is because you get a feel for what Ezio's character. Altair's (2nd in assassin pyramid) is a monochromatic character what you see is what you a get a cold assassin that gets the job done. And Conner (the weakest assassin) the only time you finally feel like Conner is coming into his own is when he threatens to kill Haythem and Washington at the camp. Ezio on the other hand you see him go through revenge, his flaws letting Roberto Borgia live, finishing what he started and finally truth. Now accomplishments Altair will always have the best one Starting and being known as the Father of the Assassin Brotherhood. While Ezio did no small feat either he eliminated Templar Influence in all of Italia, opened Altair's secret library, talks to the "ones before" and restarted the Brotherhood. As for Conner he did what? Ok he helped the Americans win a war. He never even used the Apple. Which by the way I think there's either 2 or 3 cause there's the one in Altair's library and the one Ezio hid away I. Revelations and then there's the one Conner saw into once. So there's three Apple of Edens ahahaha just a quick side note. And another thing that disappointed me about Conner is that here you have Altair and Ezio who had Hidden Guns, and all these cool tricks of the trade only to downgrade to Connr who has a crappy flint lock pistol hidden blade and a tomahawk. I mean Ezio had Hidden Gun, hidden Blades, hook blades, poison darts, he was a walking arsenal and then Conner ._. . He completely downgraded everyone is so quick to say that Conner has better tech but Altair created the hidden gun and he had it when he killed Abbas in Revelations. So clearly Connor didn't have better tech. And lastly before I end my rant Conner just didn't seem Dynamic. He had a one track mind while Altair and Ezio you get a idea of what there character is and how they develop into who they are. Conner felt idk robotic... Ezio was like ha I do that too, Altair was like I wish I could do that. Conner was like He's no Altair -_- . So pyramid is as follows Ezio, Altair, Conner, Desmond. Oh and you think Revelations was bad then you didn't understand and are to stub burn to play it again...
