My younger sister demanding me to bring her to different places. From Starbuck's to her friends' houses to the mall. A few days back she told me I had to bring her her IPod and make-up because she "needed" them for volleyball practice. I told her no and now she says I'm a bad brother for not doing every thing she demands me to do. Am I a bad brother for doing so?

Note: She always tries to blackmail me into bringing her friends as well and to bring her to her boyfriend's place or something. Honestly, she shouldn't even have a boyfriend yet.

Edit: I will not physically, nor mentally, hurt my sister. I know that she may deserve it from some points of view, but I will not do that. I am also aware that I am a soft person on the inside. Either way, I refuse to hurt her in any way.

Tell her to do one. What did her last slave die of? Not doing as he was told?

Jeez, Seriously, Just "make plans" - arrange with your friends to cover for you etc, and if your talking about Car services, Charge for petrol.

From your point of view, which is most likely biased in some way, no.

We do not have your sister's point of view on the matter, so I'm pretty undecided.

if my Sister treated my Big Brother like that He'd tell her to fuck off and he's a great brother. You aren't a bad brother don't worry.

Not really, although from your side of the story I'd be suprised if it showed you in a bad light. But younger siblings are there to be annoyed, so you're doing a good job.

I get that a lot, '" YOUR THE WORST BROTHER IN THE WORLD" ~ My dipshit sister... And every time she does I say " Your not dead are you? No? Than shut the fuck up"

From your description, no. But as others have said, your story is going to be biased so it's kind of hard to say.

Its not that she is too young, its that she doesn't see a boyfriend as someone you like/love, she treats them more like a lap dog. She has tried (and done) to get her boyfriends to spread rumors about me, some of which make me feel extremely terrible about myself.

Yeah if my sister asked all that off me, I'd probably just give her a kidney shot and tell her to wish on, and that when I was her age, people WALKED to places or caught the bus.

You are doing fine, all she is trying to do is make you take a guilt trip. Just ignore her and go hang out with some friends and soon she will be off your back.

Sounds to me like you need to grow a pair. Theres nothing wrong with giving your sister a ride every now and then. She shoudent be "demanding" a ride or blackmailing you for not giving her a ride. I assume your the older borther, and you need to stand up to her.

Well then she sounds like a horrible sister. You aren't a bad brother from what you've told us.

Say that you don't want to spoil her. She needs to learn that sometimes you don't get everything.

When it gets excessive don't do it. Or if it's quite out of your way, or even you just don't feel like it.

That being said, I generally do whatever my sister requests of me. Though, she knows when/where my limits are for any car service she may request of me.

Edit: Also, if she asks nicely i.e. "Would you kindly, take me to the mall." or "Could you please pick me up from the movies" I generally don't say no.

Way I see it, I'd much rather be driving her around than entrusting her to 16-17 yr old dumbasses whom are likely about to begin experimenting with drunk driving. And I don't want her to be a part of that.

What does she blackmail you with?
