I can rember all my mates birthdays (give or take a day or 2).

Well, depends how close you are to them. I was a close friend to this friend who was talking to me the day before my birthday, I told him the next day was my birthday, and vented a lot to me. I didn't mind him venting but thought to myself "if he doesn't remember it's my birthday I'm going to yell at him" because I would have been annoyed I talked to him about his problems so much and he couldn't even wish me a happy birthday. But he did so it's all good. That's the only time I've held it against someone, or been close to. I usually remind people when/if they ask me how I am, I say "I'm happy because it's nearly my birthday!". I do get birthday wishes from friends though but I wouldn't hold it against them.

Yeah its fair enough that like.

That is rather dickish and self centered, I think. If you care that much about the occasion, you need to communicate its importance to people. If you don't tell them about it and they don't know, you can't hold it against them. That would fall squarely underneath the "bitchy" column. Ok not sure how to put this. If it means that much to her she can do it. It's not your job to remind others of her birthday. Hell no one should be reminded it's someones birthday. It's ok to be excited about it but don't say it's someones job to remind other of it. She's just a..... god how to be nice about this.. a witch. If people forget they forget.
