Poll: Am I The Only Person Without A Cell Phone?

I'm actually glad I don't have a cellphone. I may get caught in the trap of texting people, or calling people for no reason.

I've had one for the past 5 years or so, just to keep in contact with people. Now I'm in Uni I have a contract, seeing as I don't have a landline phone and I have a much bigger social life...

I never had one for the longest time. I never thought I needed it. Even now, it's only a convenient way to talk to people when you need to (I barely ever use it).

I have one and using it while drunk has caused me to lose a friend. Perhaps you should get one perhaps not, just dont drink and text.

I was eventually forced to get a phone a few years ago by my fiancee. I seldom use it. However, the cancer thing-- don't spread pseudoscientific hyperbole. Thats one of the more ridiculous claims circulating these days.

I have a cell phone and bring it everywhere just like my wallet and micro glasses kit. Useful for contact in all the areas I go; why on earth would I not have one if I can afford it?

I'm on the same boat as you, the only reason I have one is my folks got new ones and with their plan came a 2 for 1 deal so I was offered a free one.

I have one mostly in case of some sort of emergency. I take public transportation a lot, and things go wrong sometimes so I like being able to contact people when I'm not by a landline or a computer.

It's been proven several times that cell phone use does not cause cancer

I'm 14 and have a cell phone, text quite often on it with some close friends. I prefer calls, but texting is useful because you can talk for hours even if you're busy doing something at the moment. Still, don't feel bad, quite a few people I know don't have cell phones at all, it's not uncommon.
