I don't have one, but I really need to. It would make life so much easier.

No. I'm 19, and I don't use a mobile. I own one, but I haven't charged it in about 9 months and that isn't set to change. I talk to most of my friends either in person or via house phone/MSN. Cheaper and easier.

Plus, having people calling me just to ask pointless shit like "Hey man, what's up?" or "What are you up to?" is annoying.

I'm actually glad I don't have a cellphone. I may get caught in the trap of texting people, or calling people for no reason.
Oh god. You lucky bastard. I have one. I partially regret it, and I partially don't.

Most of the 3rd World don't have cell phones. In fact more than half the worlds population indeed may not own one. The western world, specifically Europe, the UK, North America, and Canada, have a very heavy concentration of mobile phone owners, and it is quite strange in certain places not to own one. But in the grand scheme of things who the fuck cares? The only people who buy a phone to stand out are stupid children and there ignorant parents, the children that have grown up to become materialistic over grown gametes.

On a side note. It still may be worth investing in one however. A mobile phone can set you back only £5 - £10. Then put a little research into finding out if theres a common service all your friends use, then check around service providers to see what there pay as you go sims offer. Essentially, alot of providers now offer free texts to people on the same network, and I can swear I've heard to words "free texts for life" on a advert recently. So yeah, half an hour of research and £5, and you have a means to quickly communicate with someone from anywhere. The freedom that provides is worth such a small amount of money. Don't go on contract for a up to date phone however, it's just not worth it. A mistake I am guilty of.

Also, mobile phones put out no where near enough radiation to be a sincere cancer risk ¬_¬
Not unless your one of the people you mentioned in any case.

Nope, I don't have one. People just reach me by calling various friends, all of which have cell phones. If that doesn't work, you can just yell my name. (at least in the chicagoland area)

**NEWSFLASH**

When you think you're the only one who has something/doesn't have something, has played something/hasn't played something or watched something/not watched something then you are not the only one who has. All of these "Am I the only one....", no, you're not, use some common sense please.

OT: I have a phone, but only use it for emergencies.

Yeah T-Mobile are offering free texts for life when you top up £10 a month which made me laugh ever so slightly.
OP: I have a mobile and use it alot as i use it to keep in contact with friends and so forth. Also i'm going to uni in oo under two weeks with no landline so its going to used even more. Actually i don't really know anyone without a mobile, even my nan has one, although she doesn't know how to use it and my mum made her have one but still she owns one.

Have one, it's mostly just extra weight in my pocket though. It's only really used for calling my family when something comes up.

I have one but I never use it, I take it with me when I go out in case of emergencies. I've only ever used it twice.

Mine, I must say, is the most awesome phone ever devised by man. It doesn't do any of that photo-taking, music-playing, random abuse of passers-by-filming shite, it just talks and texts. And has Snake. That is all you need to get by in this world.

I just have a Cell Phone so people can get a hold of me if they need to. Just a phone for making calls, that's all. The kids today do all this texting and internet on their phone that just isn't necessary.
And with that I leave you with this to explain my point.
