Poll: Anime: Subtitles or Dubs?

I would rather watch dubs on a whole, but it's more likely to have a better sub then a dub.

Both have their strong points and weak points. If I can, I'll watch the sub, though if all I can find is the dub I won't be crushed.

I prefer subs, because most anime translations into german are very low budget and end up with absolutely horrible voice acting that makes me ashamed of even listening to it.

ooo That's a double-edged sword.

Sometimes I like subs when the dubbed version is so terrible that it makes my ears bleed (aka One Piece)

But other times the Dub is really good, but the version with subtitles is unreadable (aka Fist of the North Star)

For me, it REALLY depends. If I know that the american voice acting sucks, then subs, but for some anime that has good voice acting, like FLCL or Cowboy Bebop, I picks dubs.

Subs mostly with the exeption of Dragonball and Dragonball Z; I hate the Japaneese voices in the subs Gokus voice just grinds on my nerves.

Almost always dubs. I cant watch the program if I'm reading all the time, and lets face it, a lot of anime has WAY too much dialog.

I'd rather take subs over dubs cause dubs have this annoying tendency to make the show terrible to listen to.

Recently started watching Hellsing, It's a dub, thought it would bother me a lot but it doesn't really. Though I will always prefer subs..always.

The majority of the time, subs. However with the likes of Cowboy Bebop and those anime's with really great dubs, I'd pick dubs.

Japanese subs by default, but I've been a lot more tolerant of dubs than normal lately.

OOOooooooo.... Hard one here. I think it depends on your tastes.

Some people prefer one over the other, but I find it really depends on a few factors:
1. How well the voice overs are done (Compare Full Meal Alchemist Eng to One Piece Eng)
2. How well the dubbing is done (Compare... say Bleach to a rather obscure anime)
3. How much I care

Most of the time I just read the manga version.

It depends, but usually subbed...

There are a few animes I must watch dubbed, but anything 2003 and up is all sub for me...

But really, I hate waiting...
