As a karaoke regular, I am sick of karaoke companies coming out with Glee covers of songs that already have perfectly good non-Glee karaoke versions, when they could be publishing karaoke versions of songs that have not already been karaoke-ified.

Also, it's on right before "So You Think You Can Dance", which is my guilty pleasure show, so I always end up catching the last few minutes of whatever song they're butchering that week or whatever emotional crisis someone is going through.

It's not my cup of tea, but it doesn't really fill me with revulsion the way some other shows I could name do. The little bit I've seen of it strikes me as pretty trite, with cookie-cutter characters and stilted dialogue and the obligatory "teen issue of the week" like it was an after-school special, but I kind of get the feeling it's supposed to be that way, sort of tongue-in-cheek. So, whatever. If you like it, go ahead and like it. I am happy to direct my bile elsewhere.

I love musicals. I love theater. I'm not too keen on high school drama, but what the hurk? It's a mainstream TV show about MUSICAL THEATER! Finally! :D If one does not like musical drama, then Glee is not for them. But for people like me, it's a godsend.

That said, it really can't decide if it's serious or sarcastic. For further explanation, look it up on TV Tropes.

I'm not so bothered by it anymore, now that my female Facebook friends have shut up about it.
This, I'm annoyed by anything that makes my female friends not STFU!

OFT: Your username made me literally LOL. Truly one of the best ones on this site. haha

It's utter rubbish, can't stand it.

Only problem is, my partner loves it, so when she's round it gets put on. When it gets put on, I boot up Warcraft, stick my headphones in and listen to some Dethklok \m/

What confused me was an episode where a girl broke a guy's car window and then went into a perfectly choreographed song and dance about it, complete with backup dancers. My question is this: HOW THE HELL DID THEY HAVE THAT PLANNED OUT WHEN SHE APPARENTLY SMASHED THE WINDOW ON IMPLUSE!?!?!

Then again, I was focusing most of my attention on killing an Elder Beholder in DDO at the time, so I might have missed something. But I rarely listen to the show. Mother likes it for some reason.

Once, when I was still in high school and Glee had yet to come out, but had a bunch of commercials with "Don't Stop Believing" in them, I was passing by a girl in the hallway who was singing it to herself. I turned and said "I love Journey!" Her response? "What's Journey? That song is from Glee."

Ever since, I have had an irrational dislike for that show.

The thing about it is all the advertising. I swear every second ad is one for Glee.

Also, I hate the covers songs that they do.

Not really. If anything I'm sorta interested. Then again, i've only ever seen the commercials for it.

I've never seen an actual episode, but I'm pretty sure it's behind the recent surge in popularity of 'Don't Stop Believing'; I'm glad it hasn't messed with any songs I strongly like.

Everyone is always telling me how good and funny it is. But I've watched a few episodes of it...it wasn't good. It bored me, and was really the kind ABC family-esc bull shit I hate. Plus I just don't like musicals on principle...

Now that my girl friends, cousins, and MUSIC TEACHERS have stopped talking about it, I don't hate its existence.

I never formed much of an opinion about Glee.

I personally don't like any sort of musical covers, but Glee really bothers me.
The only covers I like are of songs I didn't really like before.

I do not like the show, I have no interest in it and it annoys me when my mom goes on and on about how great it is. I just leave the room when she starts watching it or I am tired of her talking about it. I can't wait to go back down to my university so I do not have to hear about glee for a long time.
Note to self: Spam Glee messages to you.

What I hate is that Glee is now ruining songs I actually enjoy. It's like a hipster's masturbation fantasy.
You just reminded me that they (figuratively) raped Beck.
