Ive had BF3 on preorder for ages.
But im definatly not buying MW3.
I'll find someone to borrow it from for a day so i can see where they go with the story.. but its not worth paying for.
I'm definitely getting Skyrim, I am probably getting MW3, mostly for the MP with friends, and I might get Battlefield 3, although the second one wasn't really my cup of tea.
Well, I own MW2, and BlOps. I hate them both. I only played BlOps for 14h hours, and coming from me, that's nothing. I've played friggin Plants VS Zombies for 30 hours untill I got bored!I might check out BF3, but I am worried my pc won't be able to run it. Poor Bluey is getting old D: I have to find money to upgrade/replace him.
I would get both, but if I got BF3 it would be on the PC, and since that whole thing with EA Origin I'm not so keen on getting any EA games on the PC any more (regardless of EA's new privacy policy)
I'm also contemplating whether I actually want to spend any money on games any more, because I'm a poor student and don't have the time any more to play games, so spending £40+ each on a game isn't appealing.
Not really interested in either to be honest. I played Battlefield BC 2, and honestly, I did not get it. To me it was just a samey runny-gunny-bloodyscreen-dust-apalooza and Modern Warfare... I have 4, I don't need to buy it again with a new coat of paint.
I'm getting tempted to buy them both, especially BF3, but I don't think I have the rig to play them both, nor I don't have the money to buy them both, or even one of them.
So, no, I'm not buying neither of them... for now.
BUT, I'm dying to buy Skyrim and Sonic Generations =)
Not getting either, cause it will be a cold day in hell when I contribute to the continuation of the industry's utter saturation with realistic, modern shooters or space marine shooters. The only exception to this is Mass Effect, but since it's arguably considered RPG over shooter I can get it and not feel like I'm dooming gaming.
Only game I'm getting between now and Christmas is Skyward Sword, and MAYBE Assassin's Creed if I can afford it.
I've preordered both through my clan ( membership = discount ) because some people just wanna play both, and those people are good friends which I enjoy gaming with so yes I'll be hopping onto the bandwagon.
I'm more looking forward to Skyrim though.
I'll probably get both, although I'm honestly kinda worried about both as well. It is my firm belief that CoD went seriously downhill after they took out Stopping Power (so after MW2, which is far and away my favorite CoD game), and Battlefield's movement always threw me off...it feels like I'm running through water. I'll probably get both to try them out, but there's a good chance I'll end up returning at least one, if not both of them
