She's actually quite okay, considering her genre. At least it is actually her who writes everything she releases, and knows how to put on a bit of a show. It's no wonder every half-talented hip hop and pop wannabe is queuing up for collabs.
I'd agree with that, Like many people have said she is quite refreshing. My only problem with her is that the creepier she gets the more turned on I am and I have no idea why. It's scary.

Just ignore it, she is just the flavor of the month. We will forget her and dump her for the new music(if you can call it that) artist in 3 months. Do you hear of Solja Boy anymore? Exactly.
I'm just wondering why every 'flavour of the month' has to use those damn auto-tones; I mean, it's not like Tom Waits is a particularly mellow voice, and yet I think he's a better singer than Gaga or that blond trailer-trash, Kesha.

I'm completely lost in these modern media trends, 'cept for gaming of course, so I still have no idea who exactly this "Lady Gaga" is nor do I know if I've heard her songs or not.

So, I guess I can't be "tired" or her if I have no idea who she is.
I know the feeling, makes me feel very old
Ironic thing is, I'm the age where I should know all these things, 13-18 (I'm paranoid about giving my age away)

Oh don't worry about that, as long as you're over 13 then you don't violate the escapist policy I'm 17 going on 18 and I don't understand who she is

Naw, not the Escapist thing, I'm just paranoid in general. Like I'll only say the US as where I live and won't say what season it is incase people missed the first part. Just some weird thing of mine.

BUT, back to the issue of Lady Gaga, now that I'm listening to a few more of her songs, I can say that she's fairly decent. From what I can tell, she actually writes her own songs unlike some other people like Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus.

Seriously, when I first realized that in the part of "Party in the USA" when she sings "They're playing my song, the butterflies fly away" I always thought they were metaphorical butterflies or something. Apparantly, it's actually her song "Butterflies Fly Away", which I thought was pretty self-indulgent.

But now I'm ranting, whatever, "mainstream sucks" and whatnot.

To have grown tired of her, wouldn't you have first had to had some degree of awareness of, and tolerance to her?

A resounding "Meh" is my opinion on the subject, I wouldn't even be able to pick her out of a line up or recognise any of her songs if I heard them.

I just learned who she was a few months ago...and besides South Park I don't think I've heard any of her music. So...meh I guess.

Actualy, I think this video accurately sums up my feelings:

Along with:

It's actually a lot like This is Spinal Tap when you think about it. She actually has an obscene amount of talent behind the stupid disco-dance-popishness or whatever genre she is; and more people would take her seriously if she just grew the fuck up and attempted something that wasn't already being done to death already. Also, we get it Gaga; you're bisexual. You roll both ways. You enjoy both sides of the slice. You're AC/DC. Now can we please, as a culture, move on?

Actualy, on the subject of Spinal Tap and stealth paradies, who else thinks that Gaga is really secret a parody of the absurdity of modern pop music and she just got so successful that more lulz and profit can be obtained if she just rolled with it? One can only hope.

I kinda thought that might have been what she was going for, except that she's also kinda ripping off Peter Gabriel's schtick.

But hey, it's better than a hojillion clones of generic pop star #448396094e6

Oh shi-

I just discovered something horrifying for any fans of Pink Floyd, ESPECIALLY Roger Water fans.

She made a, for lack of a better word, Rock Opera about fame. Now, this Opera's storyline is about a musician that gets alienated from other people, using fame as an excuse. Creating a barrier between her and the rest of society.

Yes a barrier, a "Wall", if you will. Between her. And other people.

I'm sitting on the fence with GaGa.
I do like her music. It's not the best, but it's a lot better than some other stuff out there.
BUT, her videos are awfully awkward to watch.
Since I only hear her stuff on the TV, not the radio, you can see why this fence has become a place of sit.

I've only recently started listening to her (In the last 2 weeks), so no, I'm not tired of her yet. I find her music to be pretty good, and a change from the usual stuff I listen to.

I have the same problem with Gaga as with the rest of the pop music industry.

A lack of, or a misuse of talent. Having talent and not using it is the same as just not having any talent. I imagine if Gaga jumped into an electric rock band she'd be rather good and interesting to listen to. As it stands, I ignore her.

That, and usually these people don't know an E string from an e string... very few of them write their own music.

Her music sucks donkey balls and she's a fucking freak. I so hate hearing that song "Poke Her Face". People play it pretty often at the bar I frequent so I keep having to pump money into the jukebox to play metal and keep the shit music from playing.
