Treyarch makes shit games. I found COD4 harder than world at war. Treyarch was Infinity wards queer little brother until Infinity ward got into a fight with its parent and papa Activision kicked it out. Now its up to stupid little Treyarch to live in Infinity wards shadow. Black Ops as MW2 clone. The campaign is the same pointless set piece base crap shoot. I give the multiplayer component props they made it so it wasn't exactly the same as MW2. Thats all I have to say about that.
Obvious troll is obvious.
The fact that you referred to the campaign as a "pointless set piece base crap shoot" (which I'd like to point out, doesn't entirely make sense!) is the first reason that you are wrong in everything you ever say.
Either you just weren't really paying attention to MW2, or you played an entirely different game. It lacked any decent storyline and it became twisted and ridiculous.
Moving... Backwards, I suppose, CoD4 only had one difficult mission on veteran, and that was One Shot, One Kill where you have to defend that area against wave upon wave upon wave upon wave upon wave upon wave upon wave upon wave of bad guy. W@W had several challenging missions which, to this day, I still haven't gotten around to finishing (though I probably could if I went back to them now).
In terms of online play. CoD4 was intuitive, CoD5 was, for me, more fun because it brought back the whole, "one shot rifles for all!" way of playing (but I didn't really play ever unless it was with friends, I couldn't stand the fact that everyone used MP-40 + Jug), MW2 was horrible as it failed to balance it at all and no matter what, chances are you'll either get n00b tubed or knifed in the back by someone running at three thousand miles per hour. Black Ops, after 10 games, it's the most balanced and fun game of the series since the original 3.
