Anybody who plays a IRL version of Quidditch needs a swift kick in the ass. Those are the only annoying fans I see, I pretty much just tune out everyone else
You're gonna find annoying fans everywhere. The only time I've experienced annoying fans was when I saw the midnight screening of the new movie (they clapped at EVERYTHING!) but apart from that I haven't found them too bad. I still say Twilight and Justin Beiber fans are the worst out there.
They didn't force it on you either, I don't think. But yes, mildly annoying considering it makes them rather limited from a writers perspective in terms of imagination. Just something I found odd, is all.
I heard that was a joke. Of course that could be what I was fervently hoping as I read it, but at least the dramatic readings on Youtube are entertaining.
As with any fanbase there are good fans and annoying fans, unfortunately, the annoying fans tend to drown out the rest of the fan base, at least that's been my experience.
OT: The only ones that annoy me are the people who pretend they're hardcore, dress up go to the midnight screening and gasp through it all. Without reading the book beforehand. It's not that I think every single person should, say read LotR before seeing that trilogy, it's just that Potters a lot easier going (ive been reading HP since 6 or 7) and the books been out for 4 years. I say this as a fan myself.
