Yes, it makes short girls taller, it makes their legs and butt look better and the walk is pretty sexy...but are they necessary? No, if I was a woman I wouldn't wear them, I would not endure discomfort for the sake of appearance.

How is this thread limited to only men? My girlfriend has great legs, and wear high heels regularly, and more often than not, WOMEN compliment her for her shoes and outfits, while most men just glare at me while I smug along beside her.

On-topic: considering I dropped $600 dollars on high-heeled winter boots for my girlfriend (for our 6th anniversary), I suppose it would be strange if I didn't find nice legs, high heels, and a women that wears her clothes well, attractive.

I agree. For the most part, feet are alright. Making them pointy and elevated does nothing for me...but when you put them on a woman wearing jeans I feel like slapping someone. High Heels are like shotguns: only useful in certain situations. Jeans is not one of those situations.

I think people here are missing the point of high heels (no pun intended). The shoe itself has become more of the focal point recently due to fashion concerns, but the original intent was to add height and force the calf muscles to engage giving the leg a more attractive line.

I'm not a shoe guy, but I am a leg guy and I do love what high heels do for legs. I would never make my wife wear them but I do enjoy when she chooses to wear them.

Per se, no. And girls like guys to be taller, so that makes it harder. Fat girls who can't walk in them and take one step at a time very, very slowly while everyone else waits for her? Hell no. (Personal experience)

It depends on the girl. Some just have a natural way of moving that looks elegant, and high heels can actually look very classy on them. Otherwise, definitely not, since it looks like they're about to stumble any second.

This. Sometimes it does look good. Most of the time I just end up chuckling to myself when they stumble.

I only wear then on special occasions with a skirt suit or dress.
1) I am a major klutz
2) they hurt after a long time
My style is more black chuck taylors on my dr martens with my black cargo pants(I have found ways around "business casual")
