I strongly prefer short girls, but I love what wearing heels does to the shape of a woman's legs. They're not an everyday desire, but they can definitely be nice.

It depeneds on the woman. ((or man.... i guess? I dunno, let me run through a few bottles of vodka and get back to you on the subject of "are heels good on a man"))

I mean, i see women everyday in heels, and it doesnt do a thing for me. But then this one girl who lives in my area who wears them. And i mean.... WOW. Not like World of warcraft "WoW", but "Oh boy thats hot". She just makes them look good.

I also like stockings. The toeless kind specifically. I mean, its not an obsession. I think they just look great on a woman.

God D*mn it. Now you have me feeling like a freak again. *face+desk* this is why i have to avoid the forums.
I could walk around a nude beach not caring what people think, and then i say i like toeless stockings online and i feel like a deviant.

Yes, they make your legs look better.

But they are uncomfortable and I don't like wearing them. So I don't. It's really a matter of preference.

I'm the same as OP, I have never seen the appeal of high heels. I do not like them.

Depends on the girl.

For the record, I know a few women who actually ENJOY wearing high heels and are so used to them they are masters of keeping balance even when extremely drunk (if anything, I was falling down more then them!).
Heck I know one girl who even runs with them at surprisingly decent speed o0 But these are the kinda ladies who have been euh... "socialites" for lack of a better word all their lives and started wearing heels in their early teens.

Interesting point of view. So many girls talk about feminine garb in such a dismissive manner. I kinda understand where they're coming from, but it doesn't stop me from being attracted to that mode of dress. I've seen your unique style and it's kind of fascinating to imagine it in heels. Not to say I criticize, you dress better than most people I know. =P
I think there's at least some pressure I've noticed, especially on forums like this (but not specifically or especially this specific forum) for people to not really express an interest in 'shallow stuff' like what they wear. I couldn't give a crap about that though - I'm such a rebel. I see how I present myself and my body as an art project in constant flux. Some people paint, some people sculpt, some people write a hot riff, and that's their expression of art, which is awesome. I dress up. I express myself in what I wear because it makes me happy, not because I want to impress others (though like any artist I won't deny that impressing others doesn't make me extra happy.) and so I'm happy to accept that it's a big deal to me. So, how you've seen me is not how I always am, because that fluxes and develops, as I discover myself and change through time. Also, you will in a moment have a PM. And not the PM telling you I just quoted you... obviously. :p

Obviously it depends on the girl and it's best reserved for special occasions, but I generally prefer a girl in high heels to a girl in regular shoes. They (usually) just look better. I understand that they're uncomfortable and I sure as hell wouldn't want to wear them if I were a girl, but it's the girl's choice, let's not play them up to be victims of a sexist society (on this issue, anyway).

My only issue with them is practicality. If a girl has ice, snow, or other hazardous terrain to deal with, wearing high heels is just plain stupid.

Meh. I guess they can be at times, but I'm not generally impressed by anyone for choosing to wear really impractical shoes all the time. It's kind of like miniskirts in atumn or winter: At some point your dedication to vanity starts to show more than your legs.

high heel shoes are possibly the worst things you can wear on your feet.

my program has shown me what can happen if you wear them too much this is what you feet can look like!
-snip-

but once in a while i like to wear them.
*shudder* I'm glad I don't wear them often. I think they do look sexy and make me look taller, therefore more in proportion but they are pretty painful. Last time I wore them was probably prom night, I had them in my hands for most of the night.

High heels bring an air of sophistication to the woman. They are FAR sexier than stupid flip-flops, to me at least.

No, I actually find girls with them looking goofy.
My thoughts exactly, it just seems weird to me. But then again I practice parkour (look it up) and so I try and wear clothes that I can move around in as easily as possible. So something so counter-efficient is just weird to me
