There are a few questions I ask myself before killing someone.
Can I use my amazing Charisma and Speech to get them to do what I want?
Did they do anything to piss me off?
Do they have any sweet items?
Can I steal them?

Depending on the answers, I may or may not beat them to death with my shovel.

There is only one way to really play Fallout 3. You gotta nuke everything, if it moves it gets nuked, if it doesn't move it gets nuked, if it's a rock it gets nuked. The only problem is where to get enough nukes.
So much to nuke so little time.

If you let yourself become immersed in the experience, you should feel bad when killing innocent civillians.

Unless you are a Sociopath, of course.

The only reason i kill in fallout 3 is for self-defence. I dont kill inocent people.

I third this notion, though for Button's wig... That was the one exception I made.
I believe you can gain another wig in the same room on a desk to the right of the door which has the Declaration of Independence.
OT: I only kill people if I feel like being a psychotic moron and then reload the save so I don't screw anything up.

I don't think that was one of the features printed on the back...

I found the pc version to be really dull for some reason.
it was more word of mouth. Anytime FO3 is mentioned in escapist forums there's always people talking about how hard it is to be a bad guy dispite their best effort

I honestly TRY to be evil, but I can't see a rhyme, reason or benefit.

Seriously, if I blow up Megaton, it'll be because I WANT MOIRA BROWN AS A SMOKING PILE OF ASH.
Ironic that she's the only one who survives the explosion then.
does she really? convinently she was the 1st lamb to my slaughter

Yeah, she becomes a ghoul and goes to Underworld. It's highly likely she'll die on the way without the player's protection though. Kind of like Dave when he leaves for Old Olney.

I don't know who these people are, but I think they meant that it was difficult due to the fact that you get Good Karma for almost every mission. Therefore it is hard to get into negative Karma. My bro had to try and avoid getting level ups so he could get all the Evil achievements.

I play good karma, and it's far more profitable. My character has almost 60,000 caps.

huh, well I'll have to see if a nuke pieced her skull back together after I painted the walls with it

The only people I haven't killed in Fallout 3 are those that I haven't met yet.

... And those damn kids. &*@#ing kids...

Killing sprees will still break the games somewhat. You can only commit scripted evil.
Unless you want to sit through a quest and then make a choice that sounds nasty or uncaring, you probably aren't in the right mindset for the game.

I liked Fallout 3, but then I found the quests interesting and acceptable to my saint character.

Really? I never heard anything like that about the game, quite the opposite in fact. Half the fun is achieving murder in the most gloriously over the top way imaginable.[/quote

Yeah, like nailing an old lady's limbs to a wall in the shape of a body...

I should stop talking now.
