I tried hard, for my standards, at trolling someone over here once, when I got annoyed at his/her high minded posts. It got old real fast. Youtube will always be there, though. People are way funnier and more prone to insulting rants.

But all in all, I behave pretty much the same as I do in real life. I don't pick fights needlessly, verbal or otherwise, except when picked on. Save for youtube, that is, my one guilty pleasure. And I do stick my foot in my mouth from time to time.

Hey, I'm not perfect.

I treat everyone I meet online well, I don't make stupid jokes to people to try to piss them off, but if someone trolls me first then I troll back HARD. So if you're not a prick i'm not going to be prick to you, but on the off chance you are then i'm going to troll you. It's simple.
I'm not sure if you quite understand the meaning of the term "troll". By "trolling back" you are essentially getting trolled and giving the troll what they want.
But if he's getting what he wants everyone wins? Which means the troll loses. So everyone loses?

I always hated the way trolls assume they decide what the parameters of a victory are.

How can a response itself be a victory? I can see how irritating someone works, but just the response itself is somehow a victory. It's rather stupid.
It is the way he put it that makes the difference. He said "troll back HARD". A response in itself is not a victory eg. when someone comes here and tries to troll you get about five people "saying report and move on" then the thread is closed. I would hardly call that a victory.

I didn't mention anything about winning or losing. Getting a laugh out of someone isn't really a competition neither is failing to losing.

I'm pretty much the same person on the internet. Long fuse, high payload. Of course, there's a lot more sparks on the internet to lighten it, than there are in real life. Overall though I'm an unbiased, positive and peaceful (except in games) person. I compliment those who outsmart me or do something awesome. But I tend to get very (extremely) bitter if I do not thing someone has deserved what he got.

Some ****** in League of Legends playing Garen and gloating about how good he is for example. Dumb ****. Those who play him/LoL might know what I mean. I just came from a LoL game that unfortunately crashed on me, so that's the example I give.

I'm myself, just nicer. I see so much meanness online that I like to spread a bit of positivity. Especially WoW.

I was playing World At War recently (free for all) and one person with a mic decided that my gamertag was funny (lambsheep) and he kept on trolling me about my name and how much I sucked at the game.
The person soon stoped when he saw i was the best on the server and had killed him several times, dont take in their anger against you, dont retaliate, just focus on your game and kill or beat them untill they have nothing to annoy you with.

And no I do not troll, I hate trollers.

I'm honestly a better person in the real world. Becaue I can communicate better, talk better and understand better.

I don't troll though, I really have no time to be a troll myself.

I find its incredibly easy to be a good person online, especially in games such as WoW I can be the best person I can be and help real people with their problems at little inconvenience to me.

As a girl on the internet
Oh, youre a girl. Then by all means, show us your tits.
A fine example of what I experience have the time queuing up an online game.
Don't lie, there's no girls on the internet, just good voice mods.
I've heard this so often, it just isn't even funny anymore. :( Sorry, not to be a downer when you were trying to be funny. But yaknow, when you hear the same joke over and over, it stops being funny.

I was more of a troll, now I just ignore most stuff on the internet such as troll websites and stopped trolling others altogether.

To troll, do you have to be deliberately stating something with the soul purpose of pissing people off, or can it just be by accident. I never troll on purpose but my views have sometimes fed the flames unintentionally.

This is interesting. A lot of people (ignoring the poll until I can fix it) are saying that they're more considerate online. :) I'm clearly not playing the same games you are, but interesting.
If i'm playing with someone from here, I'm probably A much nicer person than in real life. D:
Saying that i'm hardly a dick IRL though.

Also, I do grief occasionally depending on who i'm playing with friends-wise. I don't do that whole screwing at someone and verbally abusing them, but joking about like everyone killing themselves at the start of a search & destroy game so the game is over in about twenty seconds D:

Generally, I'm a nice person online, unless the situation calls for payback/shenanigans. Examples:

Singing the "nobody likes you" bit from "Homecoming" by green day to a load of abusive MW2 players with a few of my friends.

Playing the "stalk someone on a helicopter until they get mad" game on GTA4's free mode. This once led me to dodge twenty-odd missiles in a row.

Setting people's horses on fire in RDR. It's just damn funny.

Quoting evil dead on L4D constantly.

Note also the time when I was playing Tf2 360 with a friend and we ran into a modded game. He proceeded to ruin King Notfun Mod's day by glitching the entire team into an office on two fort.

And if people keep voting for game after game of swat on reach, I will lose my mind.
