I watched it while watching my younger cousin, and I liked it
I agree it isn't for everyone, but I am not shocked it has a large male fanbase.

When I awoke this morning, I was but a man. Now I am a Brony.

Watched the first few episodes earlier today, and I love it.

I can tell I'm going to learn a lot from this show, and have fun on the way :D

Yes. It took a while for me to see the appeal (about five or six episodes), but I have since become a fan. Pinkie Pie and her utter insanity are my favorite part of that show, followed closely by Rainbow Dash's ambiguously-lesbian awesomeness.

I'm not quite full-fledged enough to change my Escapist avatar yet, but I did change my Steam profile to Twilight Sparkle. I've not yet seen the show, but I do enjoy that character.
Have you considered joining us over at the usergroup? We have pony related discussions, episode links and more pony pics then your brain can safely handle. You're free to leave at any point without consequences...until after episode two that is...[sub]once you've watched that your soul is ours[/sub]

"You disgust me."

Yeah, I guess that option pretty much nails the sentiments on the head.

Quoted from an earlier thread, regarding this exact. same. subject:

No.

I have not seen the show. I am a 20 year old man living at college sharing my dorm room with another 20 year old man. Do you have any idea what that would look like were I to start watching...that?

...wait a minute.

I see what you are trying to do. This is another attempt to get me to join this cult isn't it?

YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME, FOUL DEMON!!

[small]Heh, third time I've had to use this quote in a...ergh...My Little Pony... thread.

This is getting out of hand...[/small]

Yes. Darn it, I was sure it would suck, but it's really good. If the kids don't like this one they don't deserve it.

Also, Fluttershy rules!
I have never watched this program in my life... But I fucking wet myself laughing at that clip!! Thats so awesome.

I just don't think I can bring myself to watch it though... I'm 21 and a guy, but damnit i am now tempted.

Not a single kid (even girls) I know can stand My Little Pony, but, why on Earth do several Grown, Mature, and sensible adults like it?

Questions like these that just make me want to put a gun 'between my teeth.

I do like the show, (It puts me in tears of laughter) but I can't watch it that much because I'm in a state of "Can not be arsed."
And it's bsaically a soup-kitchen for under-rated North-American actresses.

I, too am intrigued about the hype surrounding the show so I'll look up the pilot at some point
Side bar: I love Urban Dictionary, it's given me so many great phrases. My current favourite: 'riding qwerty' which is texting whilst driving. Stroke of genius right there

Dude, Manliness isn't about not liking girly things. It's about being okay with when you do. It's called being secure, unlike those guys who freak at a boy with nail polish.
I have just taken off pink and purple nail polish with a knife. I was also once dared to grow my hair long, dye it pink and purple, have mini dreads put in it and wear a tutu for a day (which I would have done but my hair wouldn't grow long enough).

I said that so to give context on what I am about to say, "no, that shits for girls!".

I am perfectly fine with being secure in who I am but that show is so sickly sweet it has been known to cause diabetes ...
