Poll: Are You A Console, Or Computer Gamer?

I mostly play console, though I have played a few computer game. Not including flash games.

The good news: I don't need to instal the game every time I get one.

Bad news: No modes, no cheat codes (less I think), makes me a sad boy.

And even if there are ways to mod on consoles, I don't want to pay money to get the stuff to do it.

you do realize, thats not what moding the game is right? its much, MUCH better than you imagine, you create ENTIRE NEW GAMES based off of the same game engine, new game modes, new maps new guns weapons EVERYTHING!!. its not "BAM BAM, oh I keep getting killed, I need sum moods so I cun du better" *gets "mods* "bam bam aimbot hacks lolololol i hacks all of u I OWNZ YU"

I am console gamer, Just what I grew up with so I prefer it.

Of course I know, I know the difrence between the two. But since I can't say stuff in diffrent tones online I understand why you may think I did not understand...but since you made me angry, FEAR MY WRATH!

I play Console most, but I do play PC plenty as well.

Seriously, people, I don't know how many times I've said it:

Any standard wired 360 controller works plug and play with Windows XP or above as well. PS3 controllers can also be configured to work on PC.

I am no expert, but I am pretty sure that really only works well with games that are also on the 360. Though if the games is simple enough to map everything to the controller it would work I suppose, but beyond that it doesn't seem like most PC exclusives could be controlled that way.

I play a bit of both really, I prefer 1st person shooters on PC, but am better at them on the 360, so play them on there, apart from Team Fortress 2 which sucks on the Xbox. Also, I play FIFA on Xbox, but generally prefer games on PC. I play WoW a bit too, but that kinda bores me.

Mostly PC gamer (owing largely to the great sales one encounters on Steam), although a console title comes along once in a while that just blows my mind out of the water into space. Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, and Red Dead Redemption are a few of these. The ol' console is great for some party games too, like Castle Crashers and Rock Band. Still, there's nothing quite like a long, historically-inaccurate game of Civilization 4, a hilarious escapade into the world of Sam & Max, or constructing additional pylons in Starcraft II.

I'm a console gamer through and through. I don't like pc's enough to keep them maintained, and make sure they have the proper specs to run the newest games. I'd rather just buy a new console every 10 or so years.

I voted console as I play consoles more than PC, however I do still enjoy PC gaming from time to time.

PC is my platform of choice for online gaming. Consoles can't compare at all in that respect. I also enjoy the modding community, and find FPS and RTS so much more enjoyable on PC.

Consoles I enjoy for RPGs mainly, as well as driving games, fighting games, and rhythm games. I do however enjoy certain FPS games on console more than on PC in some cases strangely. Borderlands, Bioshock 1/2, and the Halo games spring to mind. I also enjoy games like Beautiful Katamari on consoles too.

I do however get extremely addicted to handhelds sometimes. I've been known to put hours upon hours into games like Pokémon and the ports of Final Fantasy IV/V/VI on GBA.

I suppose I'm a bit of everything really.
