It's very surprising that people on The Escapist prefer computer gaming over consoles. I am, how you say, flabbergasted.

I play both, but I'm slowly being driven away from identifying that I play on the PC at all. This is primarily Croshaw's fault with his "PC Master Race" bullshit.

I mostly play console, though I have played a few computer game. Not including flash games.

The good news: I don't need to instal the game every time I get one.

Bad news: No modes, no cheat codes (less I think), makes me a sad boy.

And even if there are ways to mod on consoles, I don't want to pay money to get the stuff to do it.
you have to install on consoles too...
Well it dosen't take as long (lol)

I want to say I play them both equally. I buy a lot of different games on my console, but I couldn't go a year without WoW XD.

i said charizard for lulz but I spend more time on consoles(namely my xbox360) though I have recently started to dip my toes into PC gaming.

I consider myself just a gamer but if I had to pick.

I would say console. I play most on my games on one because unlike on a PC there is less to worry about like slow running because of graphics and up to dated-ness of my PC etc etc. With a console You just put in the CD and you play.

Then again I have played games on my PC however these are only for specific PC games. The on I can think of right now is TF2.

I like MMORPGs and FPSes, so I should be a computer gamer. I don't have a ton of money though, and I'm still job searching for this summer. Not to mention I'm in college, and I can't exactly lug a tower and a monitor to the next state with me. (Well, I could, but I won't.)

So I play old games and new games on the lowest settings on my laptop, and I play all my top-of-the-line stuff on my PS3.

I should really sell my Xbox. My friends play it, but I don't like it much at all.

I suppose I would have to say I'm more of a PC gamer since that's all I own for gaming, unless you count Gameboy DS Light, cause I have one of those but I don't know if I'd call it a "console". Regardless, I am not anti-console because I'll play whatever my friends might own. I'm not a PC elitist or some such.

I used to be primarily a console gamer, aside from Blizzard games (all of which I love dearly). Now that I've built a new gaming rig I'll probably be doing 60-70% of my gaming on my PC. I still prefer shooters on my 360, although I suppose I could just use a 360 controller on my PC for those.

What purpose does "Charizard" serve?
Well something has to take care of those grass Pokemon...

OT: PC gaming, though I never understood why. Looking back at all of the time spent with WoW, those RTS's and Sim City 2000, I'm not sure if I've had fun yet.

Oh well; Time wasters are time wasters.

To be honest, I'm psyched you included Charizard, because I strongly dislike contributing to the console/pc flamewar.

That being said, I'll go Switzerland. I think they are both good.

There, you happy? Look at what you made me do.

You know what's sad? Building a $1,000 gaming machine from parts, and then using it primarily to play free Korean MMORPGs.
...Yeah. >.>
* shuffles off to Lonely Border Town #13462452 *

OT: I guess I would have to say PC, considering the pathetic amount of time I've spent shut away from the rest of the world beating my fingers to death just trying to get that one last level up or new weapon or whatever. Though I own like six different consoles, I hardly ever use them, except for the occasional splurge where I buy a new game (for me, anyways; I rarely buy something still-in-the-wrapper brand-new anymore unless finding it used is impossible or impractical) and play the hell out of it until I get so bored with it that it ends up on the shelf until Armageddon comes around, or when I get around to selling the bugger off for store credit somewhere. Or, in a few shining examples, E-bay.

Summary of the above: I couldn't give a rat's fart what I play on, as long as it wastes enough time to survive another day/night/etc.
