Having a dog is like having an animal. Having a cat is like having a weird roommate.

So most definitely cat person.

I'm a dog person, I think cats are a bunch of snobby dicks that just crap everywhere, no offense cat lovers.
Cats do it in people's gardens, wich is pretty gross i agree, but it's dogs who crap everywhere else, that is gross too. I think this is 50/50.

For all the dog lovers out there though, Cihuahuas are not dogs that is all.
agreed.

Both. They each have good and bad qualities.

Cats are much more independent and have stronger personalities, but they can also be kind of assholes. They're very moody

Dogs are very loving and you can play with them and everything, but their massively dependent on you, and sometimes get into mayhem when you're gone.

But I love them both oh so much!

Aha! Another of these threads! It appears that it has been too long since my last warning...
Although, pay attention. I tire from having to repeat myself, though some of you are new, thus it has been long enough to need another notification, another declaration of information.

You are free to heed this, or scorn me for my opinions. Rest assured, though, that this is opinion and not hard fact... [sub]yet[/sub].
[sub][sub]You'll have to lean in, too loud and they'll hear us![/sub][/sub]
My friends, we are all aware that within this society there is always a conspiracy. Always.
But what! What would it be? 9/11? Psh, don't be foolish.

[sub][sub]Cats.[/sub][/sub]

Yes, those little... fluffy... things are part of a conspiracy. The conspiracy.

If you have one near you, I invite you to observe it. Don't touch it, or make sudden movements -- it might get suspicious.
Watch it as its tiny glinting eyes stare coolly back at you. Watch it as it curls its tiny, sandpaper tongue and stretches its vicious talons, nay, its weapons, after waking from a delectably long nap that it most certainly did not entirely deserve.
Has it returned your gaze, yet? Has it challenged you?
Most will have by now and if it hasn't, it is trying to pull 'cutesy-wootsey-fluffykins' approach on you.

Do not let that act bring down your guard!
Do not let them worm their way into your fleshy, beating, human heart!
They will not be troubled if they must knock you down to get what they want.
Do not facilitate their turning you into a human pawn!
Do not disregard this warning!

[sub]NOTE: As can be seen, The Empireth holds a strong opinion on cats, especially related to the conspiracy. As such, The Empireth is probably moreso considered a 'dog person.' The Empireth holds good and valid reasons for the belief of this conspiracy. Not all of it was an act. Ostracization, on that note, will not be tolerated.[/sub]

Dog person. They are wonderful company :p
Cats are okay, but Ive heard too many stories of them purposefully sleeping over your face so you suffocate while asleep :/

I picked both, but I'm slightly more of a cat person. Having 6 of the adorable little beasts might have something to do with it.

Dogs. All dogs. Big dogs, little dogs, I love them and for the most part they all love me. I'll pet just about any random dog. WIth dogs you know what you're in for. If a dog doesn't like you he'll let you know it before you even get close. Cats on the other had make me uneasy. I had a bad experiance with my fiancee's brother in law's cat. It was nice, it would rub on you're leg, and let you pet it. One day out of nowhere the thing just snapped and went crazy and trapped my fiancee in her room. I had to run out to my car to get my turnout gear and gloves to avoid getting my flesh ripped of to get my girl out of her room.

Grin.

Got to be dogs. My garden gets a lot of birds, so I've grown up watching them. Cats eat birds. Simple enough equation, even without the inherent likability of almost all dogs.

Cats. Oh god cats.

Why would I want a slobbering, high maintenance, pooping in the house, needs to be walked, will steal food when not watched, will knock over the garbage, will bark & wimper, has to get a sitter for when I go somewhere for more than 12 hours, dog? When I can have mah kittiez.

I get home and my two kitties come scampering out of my bed room to meet me. One of them is a real chatty kathy and I can have a whole conversation with her (even here vocab is rather limited). The other often wakes me up in the middle of the night to climb under the covers so she doesn't get too cold (she's a short hair) and it's just about the cutest thing in the world. Not to mention how great it feels to have a kitty sitting in my lab while I have my glass of bourbon on sunday, mwhah, mwhahah, mwhahahaha.

The last time I had a dog sleep on my bed I had it bunny kick me into a corner while I was sleeping until it sprawled across the bed...needless to say I woke up and promply bunny kicked it right into the dresser. fugging dawg.

I guess I don't understand the allure of dogs, and that's AOK with me.
