I bounce around to much to be considered a fanboy of anything in the gaming world.
I guess if I have one series I love despite numerous faults it's STALKER. I'm adoring Metro 2033, not so much as best game ever, but I'd love to see more from that dev.
I've gotten completely tired of the same re-hases of old Nintendo games, Twilight Princess was technically great, but Ganon again? Really Nintendo?
I loved Halo 2, and bought H3...but became so sick of it I moved on to much much better online FPSes. Friends convinced me to buy Reach, but I don't have high hopes for it. ODST didn't even register on my radar.
Gears of War was my first 360 game, it was ok, but the online was an abortion. GoW2 was a carbon copy of the first game with marginally less shitty online. I've abandoned the series.
Never owned a Playstation, but I loved tons of Playstation games. I've always bought my own systems, even as a kid, so I could never afford two at once. I consider my lack of knowledge in the Playstation arena embarrassing.
I love 360 games, but constantly rag on the 360 itself for being a complete pile of shit, correction, a loud pile of shit.
I hate the Wii, but only because I hate motion controls as much as Yahtzee.
The original Xbox had a paltry game library compared to PS2, but was a vastly superior device. My old Xbox has a 500GB hard drive in it and functions as my media server.
and on and on and on.
I guess the only thing I'll defend with honor would be that the SNES dick-slapped anything from Sega.
Edit: Forgot Valve, love Valve games. Cept I was ticked when L4D2 came out so recently after the first one. I didn't buy it and I never will.
