I need a "No, but I don't care about them" option. Unless they try to convince me, then I hate them.
I ALREADY FORMED MY OPINION THANK YOU GOOD DAY SIR

I got you beat:kouriichi said:I guess i am. but its not to just a game.
Im kinda a Warhammer 40k fanboy. I love all races more or less equally.
I know all the chaos gods ((and theyer respective back storys)) by heart, i probably own a thousand bones worth of minatures, and i play it weekly with my friends.
So yes im kinda a fan boy, but not in the "HALOZ IS AWEZOME" sort of way.
And if anyone says a Spartan Is better then a Space Marine i will spray a 100 round drum of 7.62 into your childs playground.
>.>; ok, im totally a fanboy. And i dont hate myself for it.
it was terrible it's like Warren Spector completely ignored what the fans wanted and went off on a tangent to please the industry...he completely dumbed down the gameplay, made the levels smaller and more linear, the AI was crap, stealth was non existent, and the worst thing of all is that they completely screwed up the setting... even Warren Spector andHarvet Smith acknowledged the problems with Deus Ex Invisible War...FargoDog said:I probably am. When I first played it, my ex-girlfriend asked me why I was so depressed and I told it her it was because FFXII sucked. She didn't understand. Nobody understands the pain that game causes me.Sacman said:lol fanboy rage...
your worse than me when I got my hands on Deus Ex Invisible War...
I've never played Deus Ex. What's so bad about Invisible War? I played it for like ten minutes and then forgot about it.
don't forget a little David Bowie...Horny Ico said:What's not sexy about a combination of James Bond and Han Solo?FargoDog said:That's not sexy. It's hideous. They're all hideous. HIDEOUS I SAY!Sacman said:how can you be bad when your so damn sexy?FargoDog said:Balthier was just as bad. All of the characters were bad.Sacman said:I just pretended Balthier was the lead and the game got a lot better...
OT: of course I'm a Valve fanboy and proud of it....
I still flog myself daily however...
All of them!

Been playing since 1993. So long, in fact, that most of my minis belong in a museum (especially my Blood Angels). I play a couple of times a week, and attend tournaments regularly. And all humility aside, I'm pretty good at it, too.
I usually set aside 10/20 bucks a week to buy gaming supplies or minis. And Saturdays are holy days for me, since it's when I go to our local gaming club and play a game or two. Anyway, if you set aside a small amount of money and spend it periodicaly, you'll have a decent army before you know it.kouriichi said:Oh man. I need to get some cash together. The problem is that i find myself spending eather nothing on warhammer related objects, or waaaay to much. I havent found that happy middle ground yet inbetween purachsing something small weekly, or going without food for 24 days. ((shut up! i had penuts and ramen atleast.))

Ok then tell me how the game sucked. There has to be a reason. A game with that much cotent and detail can't just suck ass.FargoDog said:Volume of content does not equal a good game.IamSofaKingRaw said:FargoDog said:I probably am. Its just different from the rest. It didn't have the 'stand still and take turns punching each other' battl system that many were used to and had multipl lead characters. There was no overly moody/happy go lucky protagonist (Cloud, Lightning, Tidus) that people were used to. Characters like Balthier, Ashe, Basch made believable characters. (Now that I think of it the story and charactes are a variation of the story and characters in VI...). What was wong with the vast amount of exploration, what was wrong with programmig your allies so they don't do incredibly stupid things in battle? People bash the ame even though it has the most content out of every FF game.
