Poll: Are you a Furry?

No I'm not a furry. I know a few, mind, and get on well with them, since I'm a fellow anime nut, and quite a few of the furries I know are anime-mad as well, which sums up how I know them.

The whole furry subculture has never really attracted me, to be honest, although I admit that, for a long time, I assumed that being a furry was reserved for fursuiters, which is one of the reasons I was put off.

Still, like I say, I have a few friends who fursuit, and that, coupled with my general open-mindedness, has made me accepting of furries.

Also, I feel very sad that some of the first few posts of this thread were just hate.

This whole thread has reminded me of a kid I knew in school when I 6 or so.

When everyone was asked what they wanted to be, this kid said "I wanna be a bear" The teacher followed up with "You can't be a bear", and the kid ran out of the class room crying.

I wonder if he became a bear yet.

This guy probably is a lone troll. If it is organized, though, I'll just say that /b/ is huge and deletes threads after an hour, so if there was a thread on it, it could have very easily just slipped by.

I wish I was part of a fandom that didn't have so many quasi-members giving the rest of us a bad name. It happens to the furries all the time and even more to the other fandom I'm in - but no way in hell I'm talking about that here

The problem with furry "fandom" is the fact that furries try to make themselves look good and then when you come with some sort of iffyness towards them they bawwww etc etc. That's what makes furries look bad. Not the fetishists because seriously, there's worse out there lol. It's the attitude many furries have.

No, I am not a furry. Human looking animals just looks bizarre imo.

That said, humans with animal-like qualities is ok by me. If its more human than animal then I probably like it, for example catgirls, centaurs, mermaids, etc.

I myself find catgirls to be cute as hell.

I made it pretty clear before (And I think my avatar does as well) that I am a furry. I don't go over the top about it, or bawwww when people say "fucking furries" or attempt to troll me.
