You forgot the "ambidextrous" option.

Regardless I do not fall into that category. I am right-handed (at least for writing etc) but my right hand is not entirely dominant (i.e I will use my left for stuff, too.)

I really feel bad for lefties. Aside from their clearly evil natures, they're usually deficient in some tasks in their dominant hand due to lack of left handed oriented devices or training. I know my dad writes in all caps because he wasn't ever taught to write with his left hand. One of my best friends in middle school never learned to throw a ball properly because everyone who ever tried to teach him was right handed.

I have a problem with the 3rd option, why would it be corrected? More like, I was forced into writing with my right hand because my teacher is a ****(3weeks of my teacher forcing me to try write with my right hand).

Righty with some tendencies to ambidexterity. (I can play basic guitar, drums, eat, draw badly and write very slowly but legibly left handed.) I actually tend to use my left hand for things requiring strength and force and my right hand for tasks requiring dexterity (interestingly in the case of playing the guitar the left hand does all the dextrous bits while the right hand stays pretty much neutral, except when playing 'left-handed')

But anyway, I'm predominantly right-handed, I just taught myself to be left handed if needed after I hurt my right hand quite badly some years ago.

Mostly right handed, but I eat with my left hand so I can hold a book open with my right.

Hey were is the born Ambidextrous option. For me I alternate between using both but I use my right for the writing the majority of the time. When I do anything else I just switch randomly.

I can do anything equally well with either hand, except writing. So I'm right handed, but I thought I was left handed, until Grade 2 when I decided to randomly try writing with my right hand and it was alot neater.

Both. I'm mostly left-handed but write with my right hand.
Me too. I suspect this is because I'm actually left-handed, but no one caught it when I was little and so I was taught to write with my right hand. So now it balances out. Write with right, do everything else with left.

I'm ambidextrous but I use my right hand more often day-to-day because we live in a right-handed world. I can do most anything with either hand and my handwriting sucks equally no matter which I use. I play tennis lefty since my left arm delivers a stronger forehand while my right arm gives me more control on the backhand. That's probably more information than anyone needed, but I like to go the extra mile.

I'm left handed my right hand is basically useless to me except to provide support for my left hand. It kind of sucks being left-handed because everythings made for right-handed people. The mice of the computers at school are on the right side, and whenever I write with a pen I get ink all over my hand.

I voted lefty thinking it was about my communist leanings. It wasn't. So I should have voted right. Though I must ask: are there any reasons to think that these forums are statistically different than the world at large? If not, why have the poll?
