I am an combination of outside classifications, mainly loony, but I guess sometimes I do make grave serious mistakes by accident.

I've always thought of 'newb' and 'noob' to be defined as in that comic.

In that sense, I'm not a noob, but I'm only an average gamer online (usually).

I'm not a nOOb I just have areal life and don't spend hours on end trying to be the best at a video game. It I am the reason my team loses then oh well good thing it is just a game and not a life and death issue in real life. I play mad video games and play them all the time but I play the to have fun in the way that I feel is the most fun not to be the best or to dominate in every aspect of game play....I guess if that makes me a nOOB then I am but hen screw it....you can be the best I'll go have fun with real people in real life

I also have no desire to get ridiculously good at games, but have a fair amount of natural ability. I can almost always go positive in CoD, for instance, but I'm usually in the middle of the pack unless everyone else just sucks or are really unlucky. I practice enough so I can be competent most of the time and occasionally carry my team.

Of course, having your entire team die as you're planting the bomb in Search and Destroy and then killing their ENTIRE team while defending the bomb can do wonders for your "noob vs. not-noob" status.

FPS's, yes, i am 742, queen of the noobs, kneel before me mortals. also, tell me how to pick up guns.
fighting games(other than SSB), im an A spamming noob, which is why i beat you, and am going back to my RPGs now. go away noob.

Yes, I am. I'm terrible at most games, and the only online game I play I have something like 500+ deaths. I'm just not very good. But I play for my own enjoyment so what ever.

Somewhere in between, leaning towards the n00b half.
However, in response to the OP, I often find myself yelling at the computer as my mouse (that I have just budged) decides to point up, so I am left circling the sky as a hunter chooses to pounce me, resulting in other's believing my n00bishness.

I'm not very good at games, but I hate the term "n00b". It sounds to me like people saying "ooh, I'm better than you because I sit and play a videogame more than you do!".
