When I think about it, I've only come across two vegetarians in my life, and I've met a fair amount of people, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was a small percentage..

I could never be vegetarian. Firstly, I like being somewhat healthy, and I can't see how vegetarians can be, although I really don't know that much about it. Secondly, I love the taste of meat. Oh and thirdly, I don't feel bad knowing that I'm eating slaughtered animals.
ok, vegans, i can understand being mal-nourished but it hard to be unhealthy on a vegetarian diet, think about it, the only source of fat in the diet is dairy products so obesity is almost impossible, protein comes from eggs and milk (the latter also being a source of clacium) and fruit gives you vitamins! im a veggie and i feel fantastic 24/7!

I'm a pescedarian (I will never be able to spell that properly), which means I eat fish and not meat. I have no real reason for not eating meat, I just hate the taste. And before you ask, yes, I have most probably tried every meat and preparation thereof that you care to ask me, and hated them all.

I voted veggie, as that's closer to what I am.
no no no, you cant vote veggie, god i hate people who do this! FISH ARE NO LESS ANIMALS THAN PIGS AND COWS you, MATE, are not a vegetarian *sticks tongue out*
With that logic, how do you justify being a vegetarian vs being a vegan?

Animals aren't treated any different whether you drink their milk, eat their eggs, wear their skin, or eat their meat.

VEGETARIAN
Cut the crap.

Meat is good. Meat is what we have developed incisors for. The only reason vegetarianism and veganism are viable lifestyles is due to the globalization of food so you can get a wide variety of differing veggies that would not all grow in one place 100 years ago. And you need that variety in order to achieve nutrition unless you use vitamins.

Also, animal protein helps prevent insanity. Without it, you would start to find the hypocrisy of killing shelter animals and using animal-tested insulin to be perfectly alright, as well as marketing a Cooking Momma parody to kids or telling them that Ronald McDonald is a blood-soaked murderer.

I'm going to reply with the same thing I say to my hippie, vegetarian sister:

My forefathers fought to get to the top of the food chain and I'll be damned if I don't take advantage of being there. Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to go eat an endangered animal.

That is all.

Love meat, would never give it up.
Veggies, are fine as long they don't make their children be veggie too.

I don't think I will ever understand vegetarians... They won't eat meat but they will eat plants... Which are living organisms too... Would you eat an amoeba(sp?) provided it was big enough to be a sustainable meal of course? Its a living organism but its not an animal...

Nobody can really explain what it is to have a soul (or whatever you wanna call it), who is to say animals don't have deep thoughts? Who is to say Plants don't either... Just because they don't have eyes or a face or a brain...
So vegatarians who won't eat meat over moral reasons but will eat lettuce boogle my mind...
Disagree with me all you want... thats just my opinion...

I think you'd get a bit of a bias on a gaming website...YAY BACON!!
Why? I don't see why a gamer is less likely to be a vegetarian than anyone else. Though it does seem like a lot of gamers like bacon. I wonder what the correlation is there.
who doesn't like bacon ... except vegetarians that is.

I've been trying to eat healthier nowadays (Like cooked meat with veggies on the side) but those delicious burgers look so good in the morning...

OT: I'm all for the meat, baby!

Expand your option a bit, pretty please. I considered it, the texture of meat was making me hurl so I stopped eating meat for a while, but got back into it.

humans are omnivores, we are healthiest with a moderate amount of fruits, veggies, and meat. Eating red meat isn't bad for you like people think, OVER EATING on it and anything else is bad

Unless you require a special diet for medical reasons, there's no need to be vegetarian.

I've been vegetarian since I was 8, vegan for over a year, stopped (back to vegetarian), and now I'm vegan again. Oh, and I've heard all of the food chain, plant suffering, look at these canine teeth, etc. comments so don't bother.

I tried to but my spaceship fell apart and the dang Pikmin wouldn't help me!
