I'm naturally very distant with new people in real life, so a lot of the time I'd rather be by myself, but I have my friends, so I don't think I'm alone in the sense you are asking.

Every single day. My family is great and very supportive, but although they mean well, going to them with my problems often just makes me feel worse.

Yeah I usually like to deal with my own problems rather than turn to someone, unless it's something massive where I could screw up if left to myself.

Sometimes I feel like being physically alone, but I always like to be connected to other people, which is pretty damn simple with modern technology.

I don't mean in the sense that you haven't seen your mates in a couple days I mean in the sense of are you lonely?

Do you feel like you don't have anyone you can turn to like family or friends? Or don't have anyone close to you who you can just go see and enjoy yourself with? Or do you not mind be alone a lot? Or some other explicable reason?

Wondering because for some reason I sometimes I feel alone. I don't know why because I have great group of friends and family, etc. But I can sometimes find myself telling myself I am alone and I dunno why. Ever experienced sometihng like this, and what do you do to cope? Or are you actually alone? Do you care?

... Incidentally, how many of you prefer to watch tv/movies, listen to music, play games alone? (not related to poll just answer in a post)

When people are being... People, that's when I'm lonely, but when they're like me; I'm not lonely.

I live in the middle of freaking nowhere with my parents, most of my social interaction goes through the Internet. However, I try to meet up with friends as often as I can, though that requires specific planning at least a day or two in advance. And there are always some cool people following the same courses.

yes.

i do try and explain myself to people sometimes, but a lot of things i have to keep to myself, and so i am isolated.

no-one would really get it even if i explained it to them.

Weirdly enough, I got drunk at a party on Friday and managed to blurt out all my feelings to her whilst sitting on her knee (for some reason I was on her knee, i dunno), anyway I did all this after she hugged me a lot and pecked me on the lips.. and while her boyfriend was right next to us.. he didn't seem to mind or even notice though, which was anice alternative to getting beaten up.

I think everone gets it some times. I know I do.

I have a great g/f and a great, if small(ish) group of mates, but yeah, sometimes I feel a bit alone.
