You are right about the first part, global warming does occur naturally. That its not man made this time though is utter rubbish. It is simply warming to fast to be anything else. That human greenhouse gas emission's are to small to matter is also rubbish. Well I'm environMENTAL
We do have a big problem that our whole modern industry and community is founded on the use of non-renewables, which we are using up, and currently all ways to fix this have their own drawbacks; Renewable energy is unpredictable, Nuclear is... seen as undesirable, 1000's of hamsters in wheels driving tiny turbines is unethical, or so the judge told me when I got caught.
Personally I'm a big supporter of nuclear energy, and have grown disillusioned with renewables after several months of research into all the various types, (especially wind, wind is the devil)

Not really. I don't deliberately do anything to harm the environment, but other folks generally pick up the slack for what I don't do. Closest thing to environmentalism that I do is recycle whenever the option presents itself.
This is pretty much how I feel about it too. A lot of these people who whine and ***** about people damaging the environment don't really give a shit about the planet 80 years from now, they just want things to be 'better' for them and in order for that to happen everyone else should live like fucking cavemen to accommodate their way of thinking while they drive their hybrid cars and eat their tofu burgers.Manicotti said:

Seriously, the overwhelming majority of the scientific community has either done their own studies, or at least released position statements saying they believe the current occurrence of global warming is mostly as a result of human greenhouse emissions. The only reasons there is any doubt about this is firstly, people don't want to believe it, and secondly it benefits the rich power companies to create doubt about it. Had these same groups conducted nearly any other study, no one would question them, so why now do we presume they are lying now?
Also, look up the tolerance the scientific community has for faked/tampered results. There isn't any. That would mean either, the majority of the scientific community is conspiring to lie to us, which I doubt, or the human effect on global warming is as they say.

They want to get everyone into hybrid or electric cars 'because gasoline\diesel engines pollute too much', well not everyone can afford that, but to these people that doesn't matter. If you can't afford to drive a hybrid or electric car then you don't deserve to drive. That's the condescending attitude that these people take that pisses me off and makes me want to strangle them.
