i'm not scared of them as a rule

BUT!!! when your driveing down the freeway and the sun comes out so you drop the sunvisor down to shade your eyes and a spider bigger than your hand drops onto your lap and then runs up your chest and onto your face, all while your hurdling down the road at 100 kph!!!! thats when it gets a bit freaky

I don't mind them. I have a few house spiders I see every now and then. I say Hi to them.

Not at all, but my sister and uncle flip their shit when the tiniest spider comes along and I've seen them BOTH cry, if you refuse to kill one.

I picked the third option, as I feel it's closer to what I have than simply "yes." There are a few spiders that I actually find adorable, like the small, fuzzy black and white ones. The rest I find terrifying, especially black fucking widows. Brown recluses aren't very pleasant either, but at least they're scariness is limited by the fact that they don't look like creatures of pure evil spawned from the very depths of Hell, as opposed to black widows who do.

I'm only really scared enough to run away from spiders if I suddenly see one very close to me that I didn't expect. And because, "The only thing to fear, is fear itself," I'll kill any and all spiders I see just so I know that there is at least one less spider in my house to snuggle up with my face while I sleep.

I'll let a snake wrap itself around my neck. I'll let bees and wasps crawl on my face. But spiders can fuck off back to whatever circle of hell they crawled out from because they look like a cross between H R Giger's alien and a mechanical hand, and they want to lay eggs in my face.

I'm fuckin' terrified of wasps strictly on their unpredictability and they don't die when you get stung. So those mofo's could keep coming back.

Maybe I'm growing out of arachnophobia, but today I've killed a pretty big spider. But I still have a trauma from the time I met a giant, hand-sized spider in my living room, while I was carrying a bowl of soup.

Wanna change? I'm allergic, my wasp/bee sting marks look like your wasp marks. And my wasp marks can threaten my life.

<3 <3 <3 spiders so much. the only spiders that scare me are brown recluses, anything else is either easily recognizable and avoidable, or no threat to humans whatsoever.

if anything i'm going to cry because so many people kill them. YOU'RE ALL RACISTS. >:O

The spider's round here are tiny, so I haven't developed a phobia.

The roaches though, they're a different story. They fly and whatnot. Hell, one flew straight into my shirt and I was still wriggling around the floor 4 minutes later.

Spiders don't frighten me. However, I do dislike them.

This dislike applies to other things that I can potentially squish and thus get stuck to me if I'm not paying attention and step on one. Because of this I tend to like the larger, hairier spiders better since they're easier to spot and thus avoid.

I tend not to mind such invertebrates too much provided they're not in my room where their little web-building silly buggers makes a mess everywhere.

My actual hatred is mostly directed towards moths (which make a noise whenever they suicide charge my light), flies (which like to crawl all over my monitor) and daddy long legs/craneflies (which can just fucking go extinct which leave bits of themselves all over my room, clearly believing I need their legs more than they do).

I go out of my way to avoid stinging insects but I won't panic if they decide they want to buzz around me for a few minutes.

Oh god, roaches are damn near vomit-inducing for me.
