This is going to have as much use as the electric triangle, or the chocolate teapot. It has got to the point of just milking a concept, and just wait, about a week after it's out we will be hearing "meh and mah homehz kick your aaaaaaaaazzz on the dj herooooooo woof woof woof, it iz far bettah dan jour shitteh guitar hero" I'd say that's close enough to the truth, it's not for me and I wouldn't even touch it with someone elses barge pole let alone my own.
i hate all these gimmicky games, i like proper games that are for proper gamers not those annoying twats who want a console to keep fit, get recipes or look like a twat playing a plastic guitar

I think it'll do quite well, i know at least 2 of my friends will buy it.
Myself: i doubt i'll ever buy it though, as i just don't 'get' the appeal of this entire music game genre.
and even if i did, the music would frustrate me greatly: as it contains both my favourite and most hated music genres in the same game!
(techno/house/pop - yay! R&B/hip-hop needs to die in a fire in my opinion though

To be honest, it's a pretty safe assumption - metal fan = music nazi. I have yet to meet an exception.BolognaBaloney said:

Personally? No, not at all.
Firstly because I know how to use real decks and it is a hell of a lot more enjoyable doing it for real (and takes considerably less skill than playing a guitar/drum set).
Secondly the music is aimed at those who like Hip Hop and RnB from what I have seen, which is most certainly not the only type of music that DJing is used for. if it had Industrial/EBM then I would probably be a little more interested.
DJing is pointless without a crowd as they are the whole purpose of doing it, a decent DJ is not the skilful one who can do a perfect scratch or beat-match, it's the one who can sense the crowds mood and pick the right track.
A decent musician on the other hand is one who can create the music to appeal to their target audience, with GH and RB it's about imagining you have that skill.

I'm pretty excited to see how it works, but I'm not going to buy it. It's too expensive for someone like me, who doesn't have a clue how to use a turntable, to pick it up off-hand and just because it looks like a pretty cool piece of kit.
Now the fucking chavs of this world can act like they're better than me at my favourite series.
